Nicole's POV

Today we were supposed to have lunch with everyone and meet Johnson's mystery girl.

I was excited, but I felt a little off today. I thought that it was just because of the pregnancy so I just shrugged it off and got up to start getting ready.

Once I was done I walked down stairs and greeted Sam.

"Hello there. This is your daddy." He said rubbing my stomach.

"You ready to go baby?" He asked me grabbing the keys off of the hook.

"Um yeah just let me go grab my purse." I said walking back upstairs.

When I got to the top of the stairs I started to feel a little dizzy, again I thought it was one of the downsides of being pregnant.

When I walked into mine and Sams room to grab my purse I still felt dizzy.

Then everything started spinning, and it all went black.

Sams POV

I walked out to the car to get it started so that we could just jump in and go.

I waited in the car for about 10 minutes before getting concerned about what was taking Nicole so long.

I got out of the car and ran back up to the apartment.

I walked inside and called her name a couple of times getting no response.

I ran up to our rooms and saw Nicole laying down on the ground, passed out.

I guess you could say I kinda flipped shit.

Nicole's POV

I woke up in the hospital.

"Hey baby girl. Its okay. Your okay." Sam said stroking my hand.

"What happened?" I said trying to figure out why I was in the hospital.

"Baby girl you fainted or blacked out at the house. The doctors arnt sure why, but they are going to tell us when they know."

After he told me that the doctor walked in. I wasn't ready for what he had to tell me. I honestly didn't want to know.

"Ms. Maloley. Your probably wondering what happened. Well you blacked out and fainted at your house, and your lovely boyfriend brought you in to the hospital. When we were getting you ready to do some ex-rays we noticed some blood on your pants. We then finished and rushed you to an ultrasound and noticed there was no heart beat for your baby."

I knew what he was going to say next and I didn't want to hear it. I just wanted to sit and cry.

So that's what I did, I just tuned the doctor out and pulled my knees to my chest.

Sams POV

"I'm sorry Ms. Maloley, but you lost your baby."

Just 9 words.

9 words is all it took for my world to fall apart.

How could this have happened?

We were doing everything that was physically possible to have a good healthy pregnancy.

"I'll give you two some time to process." the doctor said before walking out of the room.

I looked over at Nicole and she had her knees pulled to her chest.

When I looked at her she broken.

She let out all the tears she could. I stood up from the couch and walked over to her bed.

She scouted over and I crawled into bed next to her.

"Why does this always happen to me Sam. It hurts and I cant do it anymore." It broke my heart when she said this.

Nicole has always been one of the strongest people I know.

Hearing her say that shes hurting, makes me realize how much she needs me right now.

Nicole's always been strong for me. Now its my turn to be strong for her. "I'm here. I've got you. We'll be okay. We'll get through it."
