You and Rafe were with Sarah on the beach having a good time and a few drinks before Topper would join later on after his shift working for Ward Cameron. You missed him so much after being grounded for two weeks after you took some pogue to Chapel Hill and your parents found out, curtesy of Rafe. "Thanks," you said smiling when Sarah handed you another drink making it your third in about an hour, while you were all catching up talking about what you'd done while grounded and them explaining what they'd planned for the party that was coming up soon just before the midsummers. "Lets get some liquid confidence into you before Topper comes," Sarah said with a wink running towards the water before I could give her an annoyed look. She only knew you liked Topper because she'd read your diary which was rather rude of her but you read hers as payback finding out that the pogue you took to Chapel Hill was the guy she'd been spending so much time with and was starting to like.

About an hour after Sarah had gone in the water Topper's truck pulled up in the car park and all of a sudden butterflies swarmed your stomach and Sarah laughed at you smirking as she waved Topper over knowing that your nerves would have kicked in. "Oi Top!" Rafe shouted causing Topper to turn his head and wave back at Sarah and I blushed watching him make eye contact with me and I waved in his direction. He got to us saying hi to everyone including you "What we doing first?" Topper asked as he went down to sit on the warm soft sand beneath him looking at you again before turning to Rafe as he spoke "Well we've drank a few mi-tais already," "You had them without me?" Topper said turning back to you once again "Opps sorry," You said smirking and standing up to sit closer to Sarah because you were currently sat between the two boys and it only made the butterflies worse even if it was only Rafe on one side but he's still a boy. As you were about to sit down Sarah stood up "Wanna go get some food for all of us with me y/n?" she asked causing me to stand up practically doing a slut drop by accident. "Yeah sure," you replied "Can we borrow the truck?" Sarah asked Topper "Only if y/n drives," he said "Done I don't wanna drive anyway," she replied as Topper threw you the keys before Sarah took your hand making you run to the car. You both jumped in doing your seatbelts as "Where we going?" you asked her as you but the car key in the ignition starting the car and pulling out of the parking space turning the car around. "Anywhere we want," she said waving Rafe's card in the air causing you to laugh as you drove to the most expensive place calling Ward on the Bluetooth speaker that you connected your phone to asking him to put some money for all of you in Rafe's bank which he happily did. You said thank you to him before ending the phone call and spending more money on Rafe's card.

You and Sarah went getting matching chain necklaces that you had seen a few days prior. They were in a little shop that was kind of hidden away but it was adorable! It had crystals, jewellery little fake and real plants followed by all sorts of cute aesthetic little things. The chains you saw were thin and silver with a thicker version next to it. You and Sarah looked at the thin ones deciding to them over the thicker ones and grabbed a blue and yellow crystal each to go with it, Sarah having yellow & you with the blue to match the beach because a beach always needed sand (the yellow) and water(the blue) to make a beach in the first place. It was quite cute really. You and Sarah payed and ran back to the car after you got the text that the food was ready so you quickly put the crystals on the necklaces and put them on for each other getting a photo before you twisted the key in the ignition to start driving to the restaurant where your food was waiting. You got the restaurant and payed for that on Rafe's card of course and were not even going to talk about how much you and Sarah just costed Rafe and Ward.

Sarah threw the receipt out of the window figuring Rafe would just have to kill us when he got his bank statement for the month if he even looked at it in the first place. You pulled up parking the car in the same spot as Topper parked in before honking the horn at the boys making them jump while you and Sarah laughed at them. They'd set up a little area to eat with all the towels placed on the sand and there was a little dip all the way round the towels like a moat around you all. You and Sarah jumped out the car and you locked it after her then you both walked hand in hand towards the boys noticing Topper looking you up and down. The butterflies came flying back as as they did Sarah whispered to me "You'll be fine he doesn't bite and do the same look back" so you did and Topper smirked receiving the message you'd given him making the butterflies do a rolly polly backwards and a looped de loop upside at the same time which was an insanely weird felling. Its like you were gonna be sick. Sarah sat next to Rafe causing you to suit next to Topper which they had definitely panned subconsciously making you roll eyes at the both of them, Topper smiling at you but all you could think about was kissing him because of how close your faces were to each other. You pulled away and Sarah kicked you making you go red in the face. You all eat the food and it was amazing because it was your favourite food after all. You finished eating and having a catch up with Topper after not seeing him for two weeks besides him climbing trough the window the once to come and see you because you asked him to not because he wanted to you don't think.

Rafe and Sarah had to go home after a few hours because they were going to have no free time from now on with planning the party and midsummers all at the same time. This left it to be just you and Topper on your own. The butterflies had settled down a little after being with him for c good few hours now and Sarah encouragement definitely helped with that by playing truth or dare and making you sit on top of him but he wrapped his arms around you and other than him adjusting so you were between his legs you hadn't moved since as were still sad like that. He popped open another can of beer that Rafe had gotten before twisting the top of the can off and giving it you, clueless you took it. "Thank you?" you questioned not5 knowing what to say "It's okay, Sarah will tell you what it means" he said before standing up causing you to fall backwards followed by a groan because you were comfy! He was comfy. "What's up princess?" he said shocking you at the name "I was comfy!" you said folding your arms and looking up at him lay on the sand "Now my hairs all sandy because of you!" you shouted slapping his arm lightly making him chuckle before putting his arm out to help you and spinning you around to face him. So close to him. He looked in your eyes as they sparkled, to him you were beautiful and everything hew could ever want in a person and he didn't realise it but he was slowly falling in love with you all day, looking at you when you weren't looking at him and she got embarrassed every time he thought you realised. He leaned into you guiding his other hand towards you pulling you in closer to him and his other held your hand next to your face "Topper," you said whispering and with that he kissed you. His soft lips gliding across your fitting together like a jigsaw puzzle, like it was meant to be. Your lips perfectly matching up with his as you both closed your eyes and everything was in slow motion as he opened his mouth pulling away foreheads together before giving you pecks on the lips making sure not to go any further in case you didn't want to before picking you up and spinning you around smiling as you while you returned the smile as happy as he was as he placed you down he said "I like you y/n like really like you" smiling heavily down at you his arms around your waist "I like you too Topper" you let out after months having a sigh of relief before he cupped your face and kissed you again picking you up and carrying you to his car so he could drive you home hand on your thigh. He was finally yours.
