It was nearly dawn, and my roommate Tatum, she looked at me wide eyed and worried. I didn't know what to think about this random look she was giving me. Was there something on my face. I quickly turned away from her ignoring her awkward and continued to finishing my make up before getting my regularily scheduled classes. Everyone like to stare at me as I walked into a room was because...I don't know I have a weird name...it's Callix O'Fair by the way. Now you're probably thinking who in the right mind would name their daughter Callix? It's a long story which I'd rather not explain. Anyways my very annoying profesor, his name's Randolph, droned on and on about the importance of American literature I zoned off into my own type of "la la land" where I was proceeded to get nudged by the girl sitting next to me. She was a friend of mine, brown haired, wary eyed and sweet her name was Abbie Farey.

"I'm paying attention, Abbie," I whispered.

"That's not why I'm nudging you, Callix," Abbie said. "Check out the new kid. Oh, and don't be so obvious."

"I'm not obvious!" I stated. I turned my head to see who Abbie had been talking about. It was a goth boy who was completely gorgeous I decided after class introduce myself but he was gone. I didn't what to do except head back to my dorm, and enjoy a little good old fashioned debat with Tatum. Now I'm not saying Tatum is my friend. I just like get on Tatum's nerves. Tatum is Abbie's sister.

"I--" I paused as I walked out of the dorm the gothic boy from before, with four other people. I was quite confused. I never seen them before.

Callix? Are you okay?" Tatum asked me. I shook my head no and darted towards the bathroom. Whilst I was there I sprayed cold water my face.

They probably just transferred, Cecilia, did I just call myself...Cecilia? I haven't called myself Cecilia since the--nevermind.

"Callix, calm down. Callix, calm down." I said myself over and over again. I haven't experienced this type of fear since a long time ago. I darted in front of the newcomers nearly making him trip over me.

"Whoa, are you okay?" he asked.

"Just great." I retorted sarcastically. He helped me up.

"My name's Josh Balz...but everyone calls me Balz? What's your's?"

        "Callix O'Fair," I responded.

"Unique name, is Callix a family name or something."

"Or something." I said through gritted teeth.

"Are you by any chance headed in the direction of the lunch room? I'm lost." Balz said.

"I am let me show you the way." I said.
