"Hey, Callix, are you going to the Shack after dinner?" Bernard asked me. The Shack is a club for college students to go and well you no...party. I really didn't like to party so I really didn't want to go. But the thing, is I've seen Bernard before. When he was sixteen, and I was still obviously twenty-three, I even had a foster mother. She was truly sweet I love my foster mother with all my heart. Her name is Tiffany but she let's me call her Tiff. Tiff hosted eight children four girls and four boys. There was me, and two other girls before me they were called London and Rosa. Then three was this sad pathetic excuse for a girl who lached onto me. Her name Karli, but Tiff calls her Curly because of her curly hair. Anyways, when Karli was sixteen I picked up for school, and there was a boy who was obviously checking me out. So Karli talked to him, and then she came over to me said her friend Bernard thought I was cute. So after that I pretended to be seriously injured in a car accident, and after the accident my biological family found me. The saddest point of this story is I had erase Karli's memory of me. Luckily Karli turned out to be a decent girl.

        "I don't know, Bernard." I said. I really wasn't interested.

"C'mon, Cal, it'll be fun." Abbie pressured. Abigail Farey's story is kind of depressing. She and her twin sister Tatum came from a broken family Abbie's mother and father seperated but after the divorce Abbie's mother went crazy so her aunt adopted them. Abbie's aunt had a son and daughter, who were also twins, born on the same day as Abbie and Tatum, but they were a year older. Their cousins names were Alessia (a-LEE-si-a) and Carson. They got all of their aunt's attention, can seem fair since Alessia and Carson were her children. But everyone forgot about Abbie and Tatum. So Tatum spent most of her time looking for a job. In the mean time Abbie became a party girl spending most of her time Alessia and Carson and their friends. After that Abbie became lost in that life and Tatum saved her life. Tatum got into college before Abbie but insisted Abbie go to the same college as her so Tatum could keep a close eye on her.

"I'm still not sure if I want go." I sighed.

"But, Callix, you're my best friend." Abbie said. I turned to Abbie and shook my head yes.

Later In The Evening

I did my hair and makeup and I through on a dress (A/N The dress Ashley Costello wore in Angel Eyes). I was really didn't want to go but I went just be a good friend to Abbie and Bernard.

"Hey, Cal, where are you going dressed like that?" asked Tatum.

"To the Shack with Bernard and Abbie," I responded.

"Okay, have, Callix, keep an eye out for Abbie and Bernard." Tatum said. She paused. "Callix, I'm going to tell you something crazy but I really don't like Bernard. And don't tell Abbie.:

"I won't, Tatum, you have my word." I said. There was a knock on the door, I went and opened it. Standing there was Abbie and Bernard looking like like best couple as always.

"Ready?" Abbie asked. I nodded. "Hi Tatum!"

"Abigail Elinore Farey you better be good!" Tatum scolded.

"I always am, Tatum Francine Farey," Abbie teased. "Squad roll out." Abbie then motioned for Bernard and I to follow her.

"Bernard reminds me of Carson," Tatum said after we closed the door.

At the Shack.

Loud music boomed from the speakers. "You should sing something, Callix," Abbie yelled. "You're really good!"

"Me? Psshhh no." I laughed. Suddenly a cold breeze entered the room I wondered who it could possibly be and it was the news boys from earlier in the day. Ryan and Devin started flirting with some girls at the bar. And Ricky and Chris were in deep discussion. Balz's eyes scanned the room and he found so I guess he decided to walk over to me.

"Hi." He said. "Callix, right?" I nodded. "Remember me from before...it's Balz.

        "I remember." I said, defensivily.

        "Are you okay?" asked Balz.

"Just peachy." I said flatly. Loud music boomed from the grungy speakers.

"Let's dance." Balz grabbed my hands and we moved in rhythm to the random beats.
