I could hear the sirens and could see the flashing of lights. The voices of the people around me gave me the motivation to try and stay awake. But the weight on my eyes started to get unbearable, so I gave in.
The next thing I knew was that I was in a children's room asked by a kid to join her for a tea party. I didn't see the problem, so I sat down and started the party. She is very sweet and has, as far as I can judge, for now, a pretty good life. But in the middle of the party, her mother came walking in and asked what she was doing. Apparently, her name is Kate "Mommy I have a new friend and are having a tea party!" pointing to the place where I am. The eyes of the mother let me know that she saw an empty chair, that's weird. "That's nice sweetie, why don't you and your new friend go wash your hands and go downstairs to eat?" And she walked out.
For years I was with this girl and could go nowhere else. But the older Katie got the more frequently she forgot me. And after her tenth birthday, I was sucked away from earth. The man that was standing in front of me looked like an angel, apparently, he was. "Liana, I have an important question for you. Would you like to keep being friends with children or go on to the afterlife?" Does he want to know no or...
