Today was the day. Reporters were standing in front of the helicopters. Blocking the paths before hunters from the association came and removed them out of the way.
'WILL YOU SUCEED IN CLEARING THE GATE AFTER THE 4RD TRY?'
'WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU FAIL?'
- "I can assure you, we will not to fail this raid. The unbeatable dungeon is going to be cleared."
The S-ranks got on their prepared helicopters assigned following their plan. An A-rank awakened was there with them to film what happens there. The korean hunters needed to rush and defeat the ant queen while the japanese hunters distract the soldiers ant thanks to a device which attracts them to come out.
Now arrived on top of the island, the hunters jumped off their helicopter and rushed to their position.
The S-rank hunters were now inside the cave fighting the soldier ants while the A-rank hunter was filming what was happening. Luckily, no one got injured while fighting the ants as they were nowhere near the queen ant. The inside of the cave was like a maze. It took the a while before they finally found it.

All of the people inside the cave looked at each other. Nodding to show that they were ready to fight the 'boss'. They all took out the soldiers ants in front of the doors.
Ma dongwook opened the wooden door revealing the queen ant ponding eggs even in a dire situation like this.
- "We just need to fucking kill all of it and were done!" Lim Tae-Gyu said while taking arrows from his bag. He was a ranger who owned the guild named, the Fiend Guild.

But, before they could do anything, Min byung-gyu had claws piercing through his chest. He was the healer to their group, him being down meant they had no way to get healed if they were to get injured badly.
- "MIN BYUNG-GYU!" Baek yoonho yelled.
- "h-hyung-n-nim..." the ant threw his body over the S-ranks who tried to stop the bleeding until the ant started to attack them.
It had managed to bring a lot of major injuries to them. Baek yoonhoo even brought out his form to withstand the attacks. Even with the boost of strength. He couldn't do much. He was powerless against that monster.
The S-ranks hunters were heavily injured by this unknown monster. And the worse, was that it was taunting them. It understood human language. So, this was a bad sign. A very bad sign.
The monster was probably an A-rank Boss. No. He was far more powerful than any A-rank monsters they've ever faced. This freak was an S-rank beast.
After beating them to the point they were on their knees, the beast suddenly stopped. It looked outside of the cave before speaking again.
- "True king outside..."
It began to fly and exited the cave to go outside find the so called king.
After it left, an army of ants began to swarm the hunters inside. They were cornered and badly injured. It was a very bad combo.
- "Shit.. More ants are coming.." Choi Jong-In said as he saw an horde of them coming. He was trying to use his fire to burn them all but they were still managing to cross over his fire barrier.
- "Can't you increase your fire power?!" Baek Yoonho yelled, trying to make his voice clear in the midst of the chaos.
Even, with his injuries, he had no choice but to kill the ants that didn't die by the fire.
- "I CAN'T! Otherwise I'll be burning our oxygen too!"
With the Japanese hunters
- "Delta team come in." Goto Ryuji was trying to get in connect with one of the teams. They've been unresponsive for quite the time now and it was very unlike them. Yes, his guild members were cheeky, but not to the point of ignoring they guild master, him.
- "They have probably been outnumbered by the ants.." Minoru Hoshino said killing a small ant coming at him.
- "Proba-" Before Mari Ishida could complete, her head got cutted off.
This made the two S-ranks in the alpha team with Goto Ryuji terrified. Seeing that his opponent was able to do this, Goto needed to finish this FAST.
- "Kekeke.. Are you king..of humans?"
This took him a moment to answer. But, Goto Ryuji grew a cheeky smirk on his face before answering.
- "Indeed, I am king. The real one." Ryuji spoke before his heart getting ripped out of his body.
In horror, Minoru ran away. That monster just killed their best S-rank hunter! If he died, how would he survive a monster like that?
The beast did not follow him, it seems as if he was too useless to even gain that freak's attention.
Back with our Korean hunters
- "I won't be able to hold on for much longer! They just keep coming!" yelled Choi Jong-In trying to hold out as much as he could.
- "Choi Jong-In! What do you mean?!" Baek Yoonho looked at him.
- "I can't! My mana's running low!"
- "I-it's com-ming back.." The A-rank hunter started to cry out of fear. The presence of the monster was enough to make one tremble to the bones. That was for the S-ranks hunters, imagine for him? He pissed his pants.
- "Fuck.. Were done for.." Lim Tae-Gyu said trying to shoot the ants who weren't burned by his friend's fire.
The ant was back but with only a few minutes, his aura became more terrifying wanting to make you bow down. The A-rank closed the camera as his superior asked him to do so. They couldn't let the public see such horrifying scene.
Cha Hae-In quickly took out a random stone. After dropping a few drop of blood. She started to mumble.
- "The deal you and the chairman made will now be used. Ghost, please heed my call and help us! Min Byung-Gyu going to die if we can't get any healers soon!"
Hearing this made the other S-ranks and the A-rank shocked. After all, no one was ever able to get in contact with the King of Mysteries aka Ghost. Hearing this, the camera was now open by the A-rank hunter. This was a legendary moment after all. Ghost was showing himself!
As the other S-ranks turned back to the ant, there was someone there in the smoke standing in front of them.
- "Wow.. Never through of seeing people who say they represent the nation on the ground.." A rather beautiful but emotionless laugh could be heard out of the person. This made the S-ranks embarrassed to be in this sight. But they were yet thankful and worried for the person. As the monster was quite strong but that stranger was stronger.
- "Huh, so this was what the old man wanted.."
As the smoke was getting cleared, the view on the person was more cleared. The mysterious hunter that had came to the rescue had been revealed.
