When Green Eyes Meet Blue [Destiel AU]

Chapter 1

{A/n: this is my first time EVER writing a fanfic. Anyways I hope you guys like it!!}

(Castiel's POV)
"Let's go Gabe!!" I tell him. "I don't wanna be late for our first day at our new school"
"Okay, okay, I'm coming. Geez." He sasses back as he opens a Lollipop. Our new school is only a 10 minute walk, and I definitely do not have the money to buy a car. So, we have to walk.

It seems like forever until we get there. But when we finally do, we head to the office to get our schedules. I can already tell I'm gonna like it here. But I decide that before people actually start talking to me. Saying things like 'Oh look it's the new kid'. They all say that with disgusted faces. And just making fun of me. I don't like to have a lot of attention on me so I walk faster and try to find the office. As I'm rounding a corner, with Gabe at my heels, I run into someone. And he falls on top of me. I hear laughter of what must be the person I ran into's friends. "Sorry" I mutter.
"Sorry?! You think you're going to get off the hook with just saying 'sorry'?"
"I-" I start.
"Don't even say anything!" He interrupts me. He turns around and looks at his group of friends.
"What do you think I should do to this dicksicle?" He asks his friends.
"Beat him 'til he can't move!" I hear one say.
"I..But it was just an acci-" I start again. I get cut off by someone else saying something about torturing me. Then I look and see someone. All I can look at is eyes. They are beautiful. Like fanfiction green.

I come back to reality and realize the boy saw me staring at him. He seems kind of creeped out. oh no, I think. I just ruined every chance I ever had with this guy. Wait, what am I thinking? I haven't even met him. There is no way I felt that way about someone I haven't even met.

I glance back at up at him and notice he's staring at me. He blushes when I catch him. Again, I com back to reality and realize there is a fist coming at my face. I close my eyes and squeeze them shut, hoping this isn't happening.

"Crowley, don't!" I hear a boy say.The punch doesn't come. I slowley open my eyes, only to see the boy with green eyes holding back the bully's arm. He just saved me, I think. It was probably just a friendly save, nothing more. 
"Dean get the hell off me!" So the boy with green eyes has a name-Dean.
'Why should I? I'm not going to let you beat up this boy for accidentally running into you."
"Whatever." Crowley mumbles. You're getting off the hook this time, nerd. But if it happens again, I swear I will rip your heart with my own bare hands"

The bully and his friends leave. All except for Dean. 
"Hey, you okay?" He asks. 
"Um, y-yeah." I stutter. 
"So you're new here?"
"Yeah" I say shyly. 
"What's your name? I'm Dean Winchester."
"Castiel Novak" 
"Hmm. Nice name. Do you have your schedule yet?"
"No- not exactly. I was on my way to get it, but I couldn't find the office." I say, hoping he will end up taking me to the office.
Oh,  well I'll help you find it if you want. 
"Yes, that would be great." I say.

As we start walking, I notice Gabriel is no longer with me.  I start to panic . I can not have lost my little brother. 
"Um, Dean?" 
"Yeah?"
"I sorta lost my brother. Do you mind waiting for a second while I call him?" 
"Yes, Cas. I can wait." He says with a slight chuckle. Did he just cal me Cas? 
"O-okay." I stutter.

I call Gabriel to find out he got scared and went to find the office himself. I guess he's already headed to his first class. 

Once Dean and I finally get to the office, I get my schedule and we look at my first class. Science. Great, I think sarcastically. But then it turns into a real 'great" when Dean announces that he has science first also. 

Dean leads me to our class and we walk in. I am obviously late because of the incident with Crowley. I am a new student so they shouldn't care anyways. Dean, on the other hand, might not get off the hook. 

"Dean, you're late. And who are you?" She asks looking at me while Dean takes his seat. 
"I-I'm Castiel Novak. I just started today." 
"Oh! Yes! I completely forgot! I am so sorry! My name is Mrs. Smith. Class please welcome Castiel to Bradford Highschool" 
A few people mutter hello and I take my seat, right next to Dean. 
Mrs. Smith keeps talking on and on about whats goingto happen throughout the school year, but all I can think about is Dean Winchester.
