Harry and I had been friends since first year. We are both in Gryffindor. We met in herbology and got on well he helped me when the Slytherins picked on me and always made sure that I was okay and 6 years later our friendship is stronger than ever. We have no secrets at all. Or that's what he thinks.

Since 4th year I've had the biggest crush on Harry but I decided not to hell him for many reasons. One being I didn't want to ruin our friendship and the second being I was sure he fancied none other than Ginny Weasley. I mean why wouldn't he. She's beautiful and brilliant at quidditch she's smart and even met his godfather and stayed there.

I mean I was invited but my family said I couldn't go so it was just Harry and Ginny which upset me. Since then all he spoke about is how amazing she is and how Sirius loves her.

It breaks my heart to hear when he talks about it but I just put on a smile and listen as I can see it means a lot to him.

I've just come up to the astronomy tower to clear my head. I'm looking over the whole of Hogwarts admiring the view from this high.

"What's up" I suddenly hear behind me. I automatically know it's Harry but I refuse to turn around. I have tear stains all down my face from thinking about it and I know if he sees me like this he will push till he gets an answer.

"Y/n I know you can hear me, please tell me what's wrong you've been acting off for ages and I'm worried I've said something wrong" Harry said.

"No" is all I replied hoping he would just leave me be.

I realised he wasn't leaving when I heard his footsteps come closer to me. He stopped right next to me leaning on the rails looking out as well.

"You don't have to be here you know" I said expecting him to leave.

"Why would I do that when your clearly upset" he replied finally facing me. That's when he noticed I'd been crying.

He put his hand under my chin and lifted my face so he could look me in my eyes.

His emerald eyes studied my whole face trying to find an answer to the many questions that where wizzing through his mind.

"Why have you been crying please tell me it's not something I've said we both know I'm to stupid to know if it is" Harry states slightly laughing at the last part.

"It's nothing don't worry about it" I said trying to assure him but clearly not doing a good job at it.

"Ahh so I have said something now can you tell me what it is or am I going to have to try and squeeze that out of you too" he questioned.

"I said it don't matter it's silly anyway" I said trying to get him to drop the subject.

"Well if it's stilly we can laugh about it together like the other silly things you say" he says still trying to prod for answers.

"Honestly it's nothing you need to be concerned about you honestly don't have to be here you can go find Ginny if you like it don't bother me I know you'd rather have fun with her than be with me while I'm a mess" I said wishing he's just drop the subject.

"Why would I go to Ginny when my best friend has got herself in this state... hang on Gin isn't the issues is she" Harry asked as though he's just solved a puzzle.

"Haz I said to leave it so can you just stop" I snapped instantly feeling bad about doing so as soon as I saw his face drop. "I'm sorry I didn't mean that well I did but it's just I didn't mean to sound so mean I'm sorry" I said hoping he would cheer up.
