Remembering the Past

Hi everyone! This isn't apart of the story just beware my writing skills aren't that good, have fun reading! <3 music to enjoy at the top!

Match's POV:
I was looking through my album of photos of me and Pencil, memories flooding back in. It was nice looking at all of them. I remembered all of our alliances and being the bestest of friends. Just then, I heard a knock on the door. "You can come in!" I said, as Ruby opened the door. "Hey Match! Whatcha looking at there?" I looked down, Then said "Oh nothing, just memories of me and Pencil." It felt as if we haven't talked in ages, Pencil hasn't contacted me ever since BFDIA was left off. "Aw, it's ok Match! She will, like, DEFINITELY contact you at some point!" Ruby look so happy, it was enlightening. "Well, I just wanted to check up on you, so I'll be in my room if you need me!" She finished what she was saying and walked over to the door turning around and smiling, before walking out of the room. (I should really try to contact Pencil) I thought. I picked up my phone and looked at all of our conversations throughout the years. I started off the Paragraph -

"Hey Pence-Pence, i know it's been a while, almost a whole month now, but I just wanted to make sure your ok. I still don't know where you went, but just know I'm always here when you're ready to come back and talk. I miss you, and I hope you can get back to me. -Match"

I looked at the text. I turned away for a second wondering if I should try at least to contact her. I looked back and sent it.

~ 5 minutes later ~

I was waiting for what seemed forever. I just wanted her to text me back so badly. It was like I loved her or something. Wait, what am I thinking? How could I love Pencil? I know she's my best friend, But love? ... I kept thinking about it for a while. Then all of a sudden a text on my phone appeared. I ran over to my phone on my desk and checked who it was. It was Pencil. I blushed , but then was saddened by the thought of knowing Pencil wasn't able to hug me or hang out since she's out who knows where. I opened it and there was a very long paragraph from her. It said -

"Hey Match, I apologize for leaving all of you like this. I've just been On the top of Yoyle Mountain this whole time. Not the summit, that would be tiring to do again. I was just stressed for absolutely no reason, and I've been up here eating yoyle berries and just enjoying how nice it is up here. I should've told all of you where I was going before I left, and I'm sorry I didn't. I hope I could be back soon, It might take a bit to get down from up here, But I promise you that I will be back soon. Don't worry too much about me, I'm sure I'll be fine. Missing you. -Pencil"

I then realized tears were coming from my eyes a bit. She was coming back? I have to tell everyone. We need a party to happen. I haven't seen her in almost a month I want her to feel welcomed back in a nice way. I lay in my bed just thinking about Pencil. The way her eyes glistened in the sun, The way she smiled, and how she was so nice. Sure she had her moments, but still. I started to take in that I was in love with Pencil. And I have been, for a very long time. Only now is this setting in. Just thinking about her is lovely, I slowly feel my face get warmer. I was probably blushing, I'll just go to bed for now. I'll tell everyone the news about Pencil tomorrow.
