Lan Stranth

This moderately-sized continent stretches across several climate regions, from Tropical in the North, through to Cold in the South.
The continent lies over a tectonic boundary; the land to the West has few mountain ranges and an extensive network of deep canyons.
Lan Stranth has multiple active volcanoes, and earthquakes are very frequent.
The winds in this region are often weak, with large storms and extreme weather being rare.
The seas surrounding Lan Stranth are frequently gentle.
Lan Stranth is plagued by exotic and invasive plants and animals

Citizens to the north are the beastmen, they ride through the dunes with their pet sand worms and usually trade with the others citizens with jewels, bones and fish as their main products, they are ruled over by a queen, who may take a consort if she wishes and are generally prosperous. they served as the scouts when the first demon king tried to conquer the world and did their best to hinder his army. they specialize in dark and shadow based magic, using their talents as spies and assassins. they have no problems with any of the other citizens of Lan but most humans dislike them they have a dozen or so towns scattered around the desert but at the very top next to the sea sits the queen's castle and its town, Lyneo

Queen Shanti Saxena (Current ruler of the beastmen,, resides in lyneo but frequently rides around with her queens guard to help her people with either excavating or fishing)
