Her lips, so warm and soft, move slowly with mine. The feeling of her un-chapped lips pressing against mine, makes me feel over the moon.

The kiss isn't rushed, probably showing her true emotions towards me. Does this mean that she likes me? Or at least, Love?

My thoughts get distracted once I hear her moan. It's little and quiet, yet I feel it just moving all around me inside.

Lacey, pourquoi?

Without any second thought, my hands move on their own to her hips, where they lay smoothly on a firm and warm hold.

Her hands- that are just at her sides- start lifting. From my hips to my chest, she feels me, making me feel extremely insecure about myself at this exact moment.

She doesn't need feel shy, she has no reason to be. She's outrageously beautiful and nothing compared to anyone that I have ever met.

With her hands fumbling with my shirt, I decide to snap out of it and take control like a man.

Her man.

"Lacey," I whisper. Her name, I can't stop saying it. I can never stop. It's as beautiful as her, anything about her was beautiful. "... Why?"

She doesn't stop, her lips never leaving mine. Her hands explore my abs, but nothing makes me confident anymore.

She's seen better, she's been with better.

Another moan leaves we lips, this time with mine. My hands that are at her side, move around her waist fully and hold her. I just want to hold her.

My question still goes unnoticed, but I don't mind. Maybe she does like me, maybe I've finally broken through to her. Maybe my books did pay off, I might just make one of my own. But, what should I call it?

Lacey?

Love as beautiful as Lacey?

A beautiful Vampire and her Mate?

Mating Love?

The ideas just clog up my mind, but I know that our story will never be as good written down as it does in the moment.

Her lips leave mine then, making my lips all wet and cold, missing her touch.

"Let's leave together. I want to go somewhere with you."

I want to go somewhere with you. Those words make my heart flutter.

I stare deeply into her eyes, not even hiding my smile. "I would love to."

"You know, Lacey, you have a beautiful smile." I tell her. Because, without a doubt, she is the most beautiful woman in my eyes.

She smiles a little and squeezes my hand tighter. "Shut up, Fuck Face." She's still smiling.

This is our first date. The first time of me holding her hand, laughing and talking with her without a fight, and the first time that I get to compliment her without getting best up!

As we continue our walk around the park, Lacey sighs. "You know Love doesn't suck, right?" She says randomly, her eyes focused on the path in front of us. "Love is what makes people happy. It's what makes everything matter." Her voice is soft, yet, sad.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Love is great, but then why do I feel like sometimes, it wants to kick me straight in the ass?" She finishes a little roughly, a frown showing on her face.

Does this mean that she Loves me? Could she?

"You see, that's it!" She then yells, scaring me. I'm only scared for her.

I stop us both. When she tries letting go of my hand, I hold hers tighter. "Lacey, something's wrong." I know that this whole Love thing isn't about me. "Tell me, you have to." You doesn't have to, but I want you to.

She shakes her head. "Nothing."

One day, you will tell me. You will tell me everything, Lacey.

"Alright," I stop pressuring her for now.

"Roman, I have to tell you something."

My heart starts beating fast.

"When I told you that one time..."

Lacey, I-

"That I can't exactly see your thoughts?"

Love Y-

"I can see them."

Idiot.
