Wizards in the Carribean

A discovery.

Harry

"Now Harry, your detention will be with Hagrid just go down to his hut.Ron go to Professer Snapes classroom."Professer Mogonagall said in a stern voice.

Harry quickly walked out of her office. He headed towards Hagrids hut.He and Ron had just gotten caught sneaking off to the Quidditch pitch dressed in their uniforms with their brooms. Harry knocked on Hagrids brown wooden door, Which Hagrid opened clearly happy to see him.

" Okay Harry I am told I have to give you detention. Hmm I will make you sort through grubs.See over there are the grubs just put them in the blue box if they are young and the red if they are old."Hagrid said pointing to the boxes.Harry walked over and began the work thinking Ron got the worse detention.

Ron

Ron walked to the dungons dreading what he would have to do. He walked through the cave like doorway and said nothing as he stared at Professer Snape who was putting a huge pile of porcupine quills on a table.Next to the quills layed a knife.Ron took in a gulp of air in.

"Well come on Weasly what are you waiting for get to work."Professer Snape snapped, and Ron did just that.

Hermione

Hermione walked through the hallway.She was all by herself because Harry and Ron HAD to get in trouble.She sighed as she walked into the girls bathroom.She quickly ducked into a stall, and that's when she saw it.In the corner of the stall their was a loose tile that had water slowly creeping out and the going back in. She  walked to the tile and lifted it. Under the tile was water?A ship?A whole different world? That tile wasn't here last time. She quickly walked out of the stall and headed for the bathroom door. Hermione knew that she needed to tell Ron and Harry.She went back to the Gryffindor common room saying the password to the fat lady.

"Password?"The fat lady demanded.

"Nimbuls Negative."Hermione replied without hesitation.

The door swung open and Hermione walked through.There she quickly got her books and started doing some homework.Occasionally the odd tile crossed her mind but she pushed the thought away, Trying very hard not to think about.But eventully she gave in.She decided she needed to go to the library so she packed up her books and walked to the library.First she looked in the portal section.She came across a book saying that  portals can come in any shape of sizes.The most common type of portals are wardrobes,tiles and books. Hermione looked excitedly at the word tiles.Maybe the tile in the bathroom was a portal!

Just to be sure she walked back to the bathroom and pulled open the tile.She put her hand through and she suddenly felt the rush of cold air and the smell of the sea.She quickly withdrew her hand thinking that if she were to explore more it would be with Harry and Ron.Now Hermione could not wait for Harry and Ron to be finished with detention.She decided to go back to the common room and wait for them to be finished.

Back at the common room Hermione was reading the book about portals she had borrowed from the library.She flipped through the book when her eye caught on something on the page.The portal moves from time to time.The most it stays for in one place is about 6 months.That explains why I didn't notice the tile before,'Hermione thought silently.She was practicly bursting with excitment.She couldn't wait to tell Harry and Ron about her theory. The boys should be done with their detention in the next 2 hours.So she snuggled up on a red armchair and began to read.
