Batman: Arkham/Telltale Crossover (Part 1)

Alternate History

(Both Batmen glided across Arkham City)

Telltale Batman: "This suit's quite different from your current one."

Arkham Batman: "I suppose my style evolved over time. I haven't worn that suit in several years. I actually wore it..the night I first met..him."

Telltale Batman: "Him? Meaning Joker? He bears an uncanny resemblance to John Doe."

Arkham Batman: "That's because I believe John Doe is the Joker of your world. What were you doing with him and Harley? You know how dangerous he is."

Telltale Batman: "John's my friend. He's been helping me so far."

(Arkham Batman glared and dropped down onto a ledge and perched)

Telltale Batman: "What are you doing?"

Thug: "Chicken!"

(Arkham Batman leapt down and punched the Thug 25 times really fast)

Telltale Batman: "Whoa.."

Arkham Batman: "I hate it when they say that."

(Telltale Batman leapt down and joined him)

Telltale Batman: "You disagree with John and I working together don't you?"

Arkham Batman: "Yes. Putting any amount of trust in that man will only result in a knife sticking out of your back. He's Gotham's most lethal psychopath and you're an idiot for thinking he's a friend."

Telltale Batman: "Gee tell me how you really feel."

Arkham Batman: "Look I realize you're from a different Earth and things aren't quite the same there but if there's one constant in the multiverse it's that any Joker...is evil incarnate."

(Steel Mill)

John: "I made you a get well soon card! I'm told they're best saved for funerals but I thought you might like to read it yourself first!"

(Joker reads it)

Joker: "It's..very nice, old boy."

(Chucks it in a lava pit when John wasn't looking)

Arkham Harley: "C'mon gurrrlll! Help me track down Freezie Frosty!"

Telltale Harley: "Freeze? What cha need him for? Y'know he's part of my group back home."

Arkham Harley: "Ooh! You're brilliant sis! Mistah J! We don't gotta find our popsicle man we can go to her place and kidnap her popsicle man. They're like besties or somethin!"

Telltale Harley: "Um..actually that's not what I.."

Joker: "Hmm..excellent, Harl! Our cold hearted friend smelled like my grandma's litter box anyway! Let's find us a new one! But just in case Batsy gets to our walking ice box first.."

(Both Batmen heard The Joker's broadcast over the PA system throughout the Industrial District)

Joker: "Attention! Calling all cars! Bats! Ya still there? If you can hear me I thought I'd let you know that I am in fact dying of Titan poisoning. You would be too if we weren't so rudely interrupted earlier. Anywhoo I had samples of my blood shipped to emergency rooms all over the city so you'd better get a move on finding Mr Freeze and his delicious cure! After all I'm not the only one on his death bed anymore! Laters!"

(Broadcast ends)

Telltale Batman: "Sounds like finding this Freeze guy just shot to the top of our to do list."

Arkham Batman: "Negative. I'll track down Freeze. You investigate that distress signal on that building as well as that screaming man over there on the old Gotham FM building."

Telltale Batman: "Why? Don't you want my help?"

Arkham Batman: "I've got an excessive number of things to do tonight. The last time things got this busy I was wearing that suit I gave you. Nights like these never end swiftly but perhaps between the two of us, we can divide up the work load and accomplish things twice as efficiently."

Telltale Batman: "Twice? You're sounding like an old friend of mine."

Arkham Batman: "Two-Face? Yep I've got one of those too. He actually sounds a lot like you. Strange."

Hugo Strange on PA: "Protocol Ten will commence in 8 hours."

Arkham Batman: "I wasn't referring to him."
