Batman: Arkham/Telltale Crossover (Part 1)

Lucius Fox

(After gliding across the unfamiliar Gotham City of the Arkhamverse, Telltale Batman finally reached Wayne Tower where Lucius Fox patiently waited for him)

(Bruce was feeling a mixture of sadness and guilt as he entered through the doors on the balcony)

(He had gotten his own Lucius killed by letting him study the Riddler's box which then signaled a missile strike on Wayne Tower...his Wayne Tower)

(As he saw the other Lucius, a feeling of hope washed over Bruce, as though with Lucius still alive..everything would be okay...but of course he knew that his Lucius was still dead..and nothing would ever change that)

(...but then he spoke..and his voice was exactly the same)

Lucius: "Ah. Mr Wayne wasn't kidding when he told me about his dimensional doppelganger. Nice to meet you. I'm Lucius.."

(Telltale Batman removed his cowl and pulled Lucius into a hug)

Bruce: "I'm so sorry, old friend. I never should have put you in harm's way."

Lucius: "Uh..nothing to..apologize for. I suppose you're referring to my doppelganger's untimely demise. The other Mr Wayne mentioned that too. I am terribly sorry for your loss, sir. However I would prefer if you spoke to me as if we just met. Since we have."

Bruce: "Of course. Of course, Lucius."

Lucius: "Excellent. Now I've been researching whatever interdimensional vibrations could have caused that portal between worlds. And what I found...was this."

(He brought up a virtual hologram of two super powered beings battling)

Lucius: "Meet Shazam and Black Adam. They've been going at it for hours now. Each time their magic beams collide with one another, it tears a hole in the fabric of reality. But the hole is unstable and doesn't remain open for very long. Fortunately I believe I have a solution."

(He activates a mechanism that reveals a new Bat Suit)

Lucius: "This thing's got a state of the art universal teleportation ability. You'll be able to zap yourself back to your world like that." (Snaps fingers)

Bruce: "Lucius..this is...thank you."

Lucius: "Least I could do to help out an alternate Earth. Now go, Batman. Go save the worlds."

(Bruce grinned and suited up)
