A forbidden secret

Chapter Five: Secret gets out from both sides :)

Joshua looks at Cleo, and looks down at her tale.. he takes a deep breath in and out! I have.. a big secret I have been hiding. Joshua said. Cleo is wondering why is he keeping a secret, she takes Joshua's hand in hers, and says "josh what is your big secret..?" He looks at her with a worried look on his face. Josh looks away, then looks back at cleo.. he clears his throat "cleo.. theres something that you dont know about me... and it might change what you think about me?" says joshua in a quite voice. cleo takes his hand in hers, you can never push me away and change what i think of you, becuase i am in love with you, i will do anything for you." she says with a tear coming down her cheek. Josh traces his thumb over her cheek to whipe the tear. he takes a deep breath and he walks into the pool, Cleo has a confusing look on her face, Like why is he walking into his parents pool? just then, there is a big whoolpool around josh, when the water calmed.. Cleo gasps... she sees a blue mermman tale where josh's feet used to be.

Cleo passesout seeing his tale, now that she knows the biggest secret that josh has been hiding for all of his life. He gets out of the pool to dry off, to go back to his human form. he picks Cleo off from the ground and bring her into his room, he places her on his bed and runs to the kitchen to get a wet cloth to place on her head, to help her to wake up. His mother comes up to his room and sees Cleo on josh's bed, she is wondering what happens. his mom pulls him away from his room. his mothers name is amy! "did you tell her what we are?" amy said in a stern voice. josh looks at the carpet in the hall."yes mom.. she knew i was hiding somthing but i know she wont tell." josh says. Amy crosses her arms together and says you certainly hope so. Cleo wakes up, amy goes downstairs to cook dinner. Josh goes into his room, and looks over at cleo, she looks at josh... "what happened?"

she said weakly, "you passed out.. after i showed you that im a merman." josh said quitly. "that wasnt a dream...????" cleo said. "no.. cleo that wasnt a dream...i understand if you want me to leave you alone." josh said tryin to not make his voice crack from how much that hurts him to say. she looks at him with those still loving brown eyes, takes his hand and says "the reason i fainted was becuase i have a secret too... i am a mermaid." cleo says with her voice cracking with every word that comes out.

"how are you one...?" josh said Cleo takes a breath "well remeber when my girls and i went to CastAway Kay,  there is a moonPool well we fell in that on a full moon and, the next day we had tales and well ya you kinda get it." as she giggles. he shakes his head yes and kisses her forehead, she holds tightly on to him. "how are you one josh? she said.. he gets off of his bed to close the door. as he walks back to the bed, " well ive always been one since i was a baby. my whole family is accutally merpeople, my brothers and sisters my mom and dad, my whole extended family are as well." josh says grabbing two drinks in his mini fridge. josh hands a gatorade to Cleo. he open his and takes a long sip from the bottle. just then Amy comes back up "no closed doors joshua" as she opens the door. "sorry mom i forgot..." says joshua.

Amy asked if Cleo wanted to stay for dinner, and she said sure thanks miss amy for inviting me for dinner. amy said no problem dear, and walks downstais. Cleo texts bella that she cant make it tonight, that she is staying over at joshua's for dinner and a movie, bella texts back immediately " um girly have you forgot what today is, ITS A FULL MOON!!" cleo texts back "oh shit i forgot... well i am in good hands i promise." Cleo plays with Ziggy josh's dog, while he goes and helps his mom set the table for dinner. Amy is making an Italiano dish, that her family loves. His mom yells "dinner time... " everyone came running down the stairs, sits at a big table.

Cleo sits next to josh, he takes her hand under the table he looks at her with that smile that she cant resits. that makes her blushes like crazy. Cleo ate like a pig with the family, after everyone ate cleo helped amy in the kitching cleaing up from dinner. Cleo thanked Amy for making dinner and letting her stay for dinner, the moon is rising in the night summer sky the stars begging to shine! just then Cleo walks outside looking at the moon, josh runs outside and pulls cleo inside. "you know not to go out on a full moon cleo.. thats a very bad night to go walking outside." josh said.. "i know i am sorry its just so beautiful."

he hugs Cleo and make sure he doesnt let go of her until the full moon is over, he knows how strong the moon can be. josh takes cleo up to his room and moon proof his room, putting towels over the windows. after he is done with moonproofing his room, he puts a dvd in his TV and they cuddled the night away with a huge movie night. they had the time of their lives, the next morning josh takes cleo out for breakfast, at the local diner called Paps, Josh got a booth for the both of them and sat down. the waiter came over and asked if they wanted anything to drink. Josh said two coffees place extra cream and suger. cleo is looking at the menu and has two things that she might want, one is the Smile Back At You Pancake with bacon and hash browns, or the belgen waffles, she picks the Smile back at you pancakes with bacon and hashbrowns, she also ask for some eggs and toast as well. josh on the otherhand he gets the big country breakfast, thats with ham and eggs toast pancakes and walffes with eggs bennies as well.

the waiter comes back with their coffees and their food. cleo looks at the food and her mouth beggings to water. she takes that first bite, and she falls into dreamland, josh snaps his fingers and she comes out of the daydream, giggling! josh gets the check and pays, they walk out hand in hand. Josh opens the car door for Cleo and they take off driving to the beach.! "do you want to take a swim" josh says winking at cleo. she says yes and they jump into the water and they turn into mermaide and merman. they swim all the way over to CastAway Cay, to the moonpool just then bella and rikki comes swimming in the moon pool...

just wanna say thank you guys for reading my books, and just want yall to know i am going to write alot more. i might even make a new book in the next few weeks.. yes i know "uhg another clifhanger" deal with it. lol you will just have to wait for the next chapter.! to see what happens with rikki and bella.... :)
