LIV'S POV:
To be the Universal Champion, you would think Roman would drive a Lamborghini or a Porsche. Nope, just a regular black suburban that every single Superstar drives. As I'm waiting for Mr. Slow Poke to get in the car, I try to picture what our car ride is going to consist of. Hopefully, it'll just be quiet, and Roman won't annoy me the entire time. However, hope can only go so far, and my desire for quiet time and Roman to basically fall off the face of the Earth isn't going to happen. My thoughts disappear as I see the driver's side door open, and Roman enters the car. I'm just waiting for his stupid cousins and side kick walrus to enter the car, but it never happens. I turn my head towards the back of the car and then to Roman.
"Where's your fam?" I nod towards the backseat. "I'm just waiting for a reason to kill myself."
"They don't ride with me," Roman begins to pull out of the parking lot. "I like to ride by myself."
Well that caught me off guard. First off, I assumed Roman wouldn't be driving since everyone does everything for him. Second, I thought his car, an expensive one specifically, would be filled with champagne, women, and steroids; come on, the dude's arms are built like The Great Wall of China.
"That doesn't make sense. They're always with you, and they're your family," I pulled out my phone and began scrolling through Twitter.
"You know it's rude to be on your phone while talking to someone," Roman sighed and grabbed my phone, throwing it in the back seat.
"What the hell!" I turned around and rubbed my hand across the backseat, trying to feel for my phone. "Roman, I need my phone!"
"You don't need your fucking phone," Roman growled. "Turn around, and let's finish our conversation!"
"Whatever," I mumbled and crossed my arms over my chest.
Roman chuckled and shook his head at my childishness. "Like I was saying, I always ride by myself. Sometimes, it's nice to get away from my cousins and Paul. It can just get overwhelming sometimes."
"You sure don't show it. You walk through the hallways with your head held high, and you scare a lot of people."
"Do I scare you?" His eyes caught mine, and I shook my head. "Good. That's good that you're not scared."
"Why is that good?" Who is this Roman ,and what has he done with the old one?
He released a long sigh and pulled into a parking lot of a gas station. "I'm gonna take a piss. Do you want anything while I'm inside?"
I scrunched my nose. "That's gross Roman, but since you're offering, I'll take Doritos, the red bag of course, and a Dr. Pepper."
"Everybody takes a piss, Liv," He hopped out of the car. "Be right back."
As I watched him walk into the store, I couldn't help but feel bad about what he was saying. Roman doesn't seem like the type of guy to get upset about these things. A buzzing sound erupts throughout the car, and I immediately turn around, finally seeing my phone on the floor. I look to see Naomi's name on the screen and begin to panic. Shit! I forgot to tell her that we weren't riding tonight. I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the car door. Before I can even take a step on the pavement, a large pair of hands take ahold of my wrists and pulls me out of the car.
Of course, my first thought is that this was Roman, and he's pissed that the bathroom ran out of soap or some petty shit like that. However, to my surprise, this isn't Roman; I actually don't know who this is at all. I look up to see a tall, bulky man with a creepy ass smile spread across his face. Sweat dripped down from his forehead to the tips of his brown beard. He smelt like trash and looked like it too.
