Roman had been haunting, what was left of his castle from the tenth century. For over a few thousand years, he doesn't quite remember how long it's been; just that it has been a long time. He doesn't remember how it looked here before, or even how he looks. All he knows is the rubble of his destroyed place of provenance. As he had absentmindedly paced the whole place till every crook had been burned into his memory.

But today something was different. There was someone, living and breathing, walking around and picking up rocks. It was a man, He had light sand-tinted skin, like a marshmallow that had been held over a fire for the perfect amount of time that made his green eyes stick out just a bit more, his light brown grey-ish hair slicked back. He immediately piqued Roman's interest and Roman stood close observing this new fellow.

But as quickly as Roman got near, was as quick as the guy was at finishing collecting rocks he wanted and starting to depart. Roman discovered he could follow the guy past the usual barrier that stopped him before, excited at the thought of all the adventures he could now voyage onward for, beyond this small chunk of the world. Roman followed him into a four-wheeled steel carriage, something he had never seen before, and sat in the back. As the guy fiddled with his mirror nervously. Before they started to drive, to somewhere.

They eventually stopped and the guy got out and was speed walking into a small house, so Roman followed after him. They went up the outside stairs and got to a door; That the man pulled out some keys for, unlocked the door, and went in, closing the door and quickly locking the door back. Roman pressed his hand to the door, expecting it to be solid, but he phased through it.

Roman stumbled through the closed door and looked around, and noticed along with the man he followed; there was another person in the room.

"Hey, Virgil, where were you?" The new person said as they moved a metal bowl with baking supplies in it onto a counter. They had brick brown skin that made the fair-skin tinted patches of skin stick out much more, along with their pale blue eyes, and dark bronze-colored hair with a white stripe that extended to the back of their head from their forehead. And his hair was exceptionally long and pulled into a messy ponytail.

The man Roman followed that is apparently named Virgil, Odd name. Virgil put down his plastic bag of rocks, "Just collecting rocks, for rock painting, Patton," He seemed to be nervously glancing around the room as he stepped over to the counter. "What are you up to?".

"Just gonna' bake white chocolate, chocolate chip, and cashew cookies," He rushed around the kitchen grabbing utensils and extras he needed for the cookies. Roman wondered how a person, that isn't dead; could be so fast. Vigil laughed at his friend's obvious over-excitement.

"So who's the person that's getting the; Depression Cure Cookies" Virgil did air quotes at the name for the cookies, as it is their own little joke. They would give each other some of this kind of cookies when either one of them was sad. So the name is reminiscent of that.

"Just a friend at work whose nan is sick," Patton stated, as he opened a bag of flour. "I'm planning on giving it to them tomorrow." he declared as he put the flour into the bowl.

"So, that's why you're panicking," Virgil leaned against the counter as he joked at Patton's frantic speed. He picked up an egg and held it in his hand. "Do you need help?"

"No thanks. I can manage." Patton said, taking the egg from Virgil and continuing with making the cookies by himself. Virgil watched for a few more minutes, before deciding Patton can handle it.

Virgil went over to the living room area and put his headphones on and sat on the couch, his legs crisscrossed for his personal comfort. Roman followed behind him absolutely curious as to what he's doing, watching Virgil from just behind him. Virgil covered himself in a blanket, as he listened to his music.

Roman suddenly picked up on Virgil seeming annoyed, and Virgil turned around, Roman almost swore he was looking right directly at him, but as soon as Vigil had spoken he knew that he actually was.

"Why the heck are you following me?"
