What Happened to SUNKI

Chapter 5 - Part Two with You

It was already midnight, 1 am, yet Sunoo didn't even get a feeling of sleepiness at all.

He also peeked at the lower bunk of his bed where Taeyong and Sungchul were sleeping peacefully with a soft snore. He sighed. He found it really hard to sleep for tonight.

He then tried to close his eyes in silence once again. He also tried counting jumping sheep and just stayed still doing nothing, but hell. He just can't.

Tomorrow is a special day for all of them, Gounders. Well, tomorrow will be their last test if they can make it to I-LAND.

Because if they do not, they'll immediately be eliminated from the show, and no one wants to.

Everyone has been stressed about the test, this is the last chance after all.

Sunoo then sighed silently once again as he rubbed both of his palms on his face.

He really can't sleep. He may act cheerful and calm in front of the other Grounders, but honestly, he really felt so nervous and scared for the next test.

He then sat on his bed carefully, not to disturb the two sleeping under his bunk and stared somewhere he didn't even know.

"Aishh, what should I do?" Sunoo asked himself, scratching the back of his neck.

On the other hand, another Grounder has been overthinking for the test tomorrow as well. Laying down on the couch, lower limbs folded into half while staring at the ceiling of the living room.

Originally, everyone in the Ground has their own bunks to sleep, but this time, these Grounders have to stay altogether in this dorm, together with the former I-Landers that were dropped because of their last test.

Well, those six former I-Landers who were dropped out were also staying with them inside the dorm. It's fine, actually, adding the fact that the given dorm to them was already big enough for them to stay.

Those six I-Landers must be really enjoying the whole I-LAND house on their own, while seventeen have to fit inside this dorm.

Well, Niki was generous enough to offer his bunk for other hyungs to use comfortably, while the three of them, Niki, Taki and Nicholas, use the living room to sleep.

Don't worry. Nicholas and Taki were using a huge foam so they can sleep comfortably in the living room.

But that's not what's bothering him.

Just like Sunoo, Niki has been bugged for what may happen the next day. He was so scared.

What if he got eliminated?

What if he performs enough but the fans wouldn't see his worth?

What if he does not receive enough votes to survive?

Honestly, he doesn't know the answer either. All he knows is that he'll do his best for tomorrow's test..

..even though he wasn't sure what may happen next.

Soon, a sigh came out on his lips. And as he did, he also stood up from the couch and carefully walked away from the living room and entered the kitchen quietly, not to disturb Taki and Nicholas who were lying down carelessly on the foam, almost hugging each other.

Niki just chuckled softly at the way they slump themselves, but still did his best to do that in the most silent way.

He then immediately headed to the kitchen to take a look inside for what he might eat or drink. He also had a plan to cook ramyeon for himself, but because of the laziness that ate him whole, he just decided to drink a glass of milk for himself. It would also help him sleep faster for tonight.
