Chapter Eight

'Maybe living here won't be so bad'

I absolutely regret saying that now. All YB does in the house is sneak around in my room and crawl into my bed without my permission, follow me everywhere, and suddenly hug me out of no where.

"FUCK!"

I groaned as I heard YB yell downstairs and grabbed my pillow and tried covering my ears with it.

'What in the world is that grown up child doing?!'

I screamed into the pillow, I was only trying to take a nap but he kept yelling for some unknown reason. I heard him yell again and heard a smashing sound, I quickly jolted up from my bed and went downstairs. I walked into the living room to see a broken controller on the floor, and a frustrated YB on the couch laying flat on his stomach, with his face dug into the couch. I looked at the tv screen and a game was shown on it, though it said 'GAME OVER' in bold with a continue or exit button on the bottom. I slapped a hand over my mouth trying not to laugh

"Y-YN!" YB quickly stood up and stood infront of the broken controller kicking it back to try and hide it from me. I sighed and sat on the couch, crossing my legs together still looking at him

"Well..whaddya know, you're a gamer and a kidnapper " I laughed a bit before patting the seat next to me, he hesitantly sat next to me with his hands on his lap

"I thought you were asleep, ehe" he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly as he looked away from me. I rolled my eyes, and uncrossed my legs spreading them apart and slouched into the couch

"You were too loud, I couldn't sleep. You were probably so loud I bet your neighbors heard nitwit" I cackled

"S-sorry I just couldn't finish this level I was on" he pointed to the tv screen that still projected the words 'GAME OVER' on it.

"Could I maybe try it? Do you have another controller?"

"Well I mean I could try to look for one" He got up and searched around

"Aha! I found one but it's really old and doesn't work well, but you could still try" he handed me the white controller, I saw there was a lot of dust on it so I'm guessing he hasn't used it in a while. He sat back down next to me with his hands behind his head

"Wait so how do I use this?" I examined the controller before blowing away the dust. He leaned over my shoulder and started pointing at certain buttons, he was so close to me I could feel my face heat up, he was leaning on my shoulder so close he could probably feel my breath on his neck

"Then this button is to start the game, got it?" He looked at me and went to sit back down in his original spot. I wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying.

"O-ok..." I hesitantly played the game and saw my character, I moved it around a bit and pressed some of the buttons to get the hang of it. I started moving the thumb stick and made my character go forward, that is when I encountered the 'final boss' of the game.

"Y/N if I can't do it then there's no likely way you can beat it but it was worth a try-"

"I'm doing it! He's slowly dying! Look YB!" I hastily pressed buttons as the monster slowly died. I turned for a quick moment to see YBs mouth agape. I hit a final button on the controller, that made my character slash his sword and hit the monster dead. After that the game had a big 'K.O' on the screen

"No fucking way..." I heard YB mumble under his breath as he slowly closed his mouth and turned to me.

"You were saying?" I smirked handing him the controller while laughing

"That was so hot"

I stopped laughing and felt an immediate rush of blood onto my cheeks.

"D-dont say stuff like that!" I hit him on the shoulder and slouched back on the couch crossing my arms. He chuckled and checked his phone

"It's almost 7:00, wanna watch a movie?" He put his phone back in his sweatpants pocket and sat next to me.

"Sure what movie?"

"The notebook" he grabbed the remote and started searching for the movie.

YB covered my eyes with his big hand when a steamy scene was playing

"YB stop I wanna see!" I whined and pushed down his hand to see but he immediately covered my eyes again

"YB!"

"What? I'm only trying to save your eyes, mine are burning right now watching this" he had a small blush on his face as he intently watched

"How come you can watch it and I can't?!" I glared at him

"It's different, I'm more mature and you're still a baby" I smacked his hand out from my eyes and groaned, the scene was already over before I could take a glimpse at it. I heard YB chuckle as he 'yawned' and placed his arm around my shoulders.

"I could stay like this forever" he snuggled up to me before kissing my head. I felt a blush creep up to my face

'Am I really falling for him? No no no! No way in hell!' I shook those thoughts from my head. And continued watching

Half way through the movie I heard snoring next to me. I slowly turned my head to see YB sleeping on my shoulder, I softly smiled and put my head on top of his. I grabbed the blanket next to me and covered both of us with the fluffy blanket. My eye lids started to feel heavy as I fell right asleep next to YB.
