XIAO ZHAN'S POV
*hoot! hoot!
As I walked back to the deepest part of the forest a faint sound suddenly caught my attention.
I stopped on my tracks, twisting my head to the side I looked towards the huge tree surrounded by big bushes.
"How much longer are you planning to hide on that tree?"
Just as I said it, a black shadow jumped down from the top of the tree. If a normal person was the one experiencing this, they would've peed themselves from fright, unfortunately I am not normal.
"I'm impressed! You could even guess where I was despite my careful and stealth movements"
"It seems you're underestimating me too much......MR. LAN" I turned around to face the black shadow with a small smile on my face.
"Don't be too confident, it was merely a streak of luck" the black shadow flashed forward and launched an attack
*tss! With a slight sway of my body, I avoided his pointy sword. I smirked at him then he followed with his series of attacks, with me always invading it. "Tsk tsk tsk! It seems you're not so good in sword. Want me to help you?" I teased.
He furrowed his brows and glared at me making me smile even more. His attacks changed, it now is more brutal and each is aimed at my vital points.
"Why so serious?" As the sharp point of the sword was about to pierce my chest I twisted my body and glide past him, smirking at him in the process.
He glared at me and he suddenly stopped on attacking, he stood straight on his spot and closed his eyes, be moved his arms and a blue light seems to be gathering on his arms. He opened his eyes and looked at me sharply, he pointed his fingers at me and his sword somehow floated and attacked me by itself.
I tried avoiding the swords attack but he pulled out another sword and attacked me with it. Now there are two swords aimed at me, great- just great!
"Look Mr. Lan, I'm done playing with you, if you want you can play by yourself" jumping to the speed comparable to that of the speed of light, I vanished from my spot.
"Wei Ying" before I completely vanished I heard a faint call of someone.
End of Zhan's POV
As Zhan's silhouette vanished the man adorned in black clothes stood still at his spot, he took off his cloak and the once dark and gloomy looking man became white and ethereal.
As the wind blew past, his long hair swayed and his long white robe flutters. The once deeply furrowed brows and glaring eyes changed into one of a lone soul longing for his mate.
"Where are you Wei Ying?"
His sword flew back and sheathed itself on the scabbard on his waist. After a while he vanished again.
Meanwhile, Xiao Zhan just arrived at his home in the deepest hidden part of the forest, where no one can just enter and leave even by chance.
Standing on the front door was a tall 60 years old man, wearing a black suit, he looks so stern and scary specially with the aura he was giving off.
"Zhan zhan, where did you go so late in the night?" If his looks doesn't scare you enough then his voice will surely make you pee your pants.
Xiao Zhan smiled so warmly just like how he used to when he was a kid "Uncle Zhou, you're here, why aren't you asleep yet?" Though he smiles and behaves just like how he used to, his eyes didn't held any emotion.
