Is Forever A Myth?

CHAPTER 6

Aayna's pov:
We are literally seeing in each other's eyes so deeply and I could tell one thing that I saw a warning of something in his eyes. His eyes we're so magical... This feeling is beyond anything I had no explanation to it. His face was just centimeter away from my face. I could see his need of wanting to get more closer. And suddenly I hear a loud thunder (I have astraphobia which is fear of thunder and lightnings) my fear gets me more close to him, the jump scare made my hand catch around his neck and I almost hug him. My cheek was touching his cheek and there was silence around us even though the rain was dripping heavily outside the car.

I didn't want to turn because I knew what would happen if I do so. Our breath got heavier I just wanted this to go quiet just when he goes "Turn" I swear that word will never be forgotten. I didn't turn until he turned towards me we were now very close so close that my nose was touching his almost and I don't know why I just wanted to escape. Not because I didn't want to be here. But I didn't want to be were it's going to take me. Just then he says "Will you... " and stops... This is getting worse for me to manage my heart. There is some restlessness. I feel anxious for something I don't know. I ask him "Will I..? " "Will you be my bestfriend?" He says. I swear I was beyond shock and also the restlessness was gone I for the first time felt comfortable around him. The best thing was he closed his eyes after saying that. I felt different I put my hand on his chest and tell him. "Open your eyes! " He opens and I start laughing. "What is so funny? " He asks. "Nothing" I reply but still laughing forgetting I have to go home. "You can leave now" He says disappointed. "The model , who seeks every girl's attention got nervous to ask Aayna Khan wether she will be his best friend" She boasts.

He rolls his eyes. And I get a call from my sister . Shit I forgot I have a home . I say him that I need to go and just when I open my door I forget that it's raining outside and quickly sit in. He starts laughing and says "hahahah now laugh" In a sarcasm way. Just then the current goes off in the whole street. I ask him wether he could walk me home because I was very scared of thunders around me. ( I didn't tell him the reason tho), he tells "Only if u promise me one thing " , "And what is that one thing?" I ask. "If you don't tell about today's car scenerio to anyone and answer to it in a proper way" He says. I couldn't control my laugh. But had to. I say "Deal". He gets out of the car and comes to my way and opens my door. I stand up but it's raining very heavily I cover my phone inside my hijab which is more important than my life. He suddenly removes his jacket. I was like what is he even doing. He then puts it above me and rushes me towards my apartment. He is soaking wet. I look at him and tell him to quickly go sit in the car or else he would catch cold, and he says "what about the deal? " "Uh .... I won't be you best friend" I tell him. He stares at me. "I will be your best friend forever don't get scared " I say and laugh. He smiles and strokes his hand through his hair and splashes the water on my face. I hit him with his jacket. The water dripping down him and and his smile both made me harder to blink. Damnnn!, why do you need a boyfriend when you have a devilish handsome bestfriend. I waved him bye and he waved me bye. Honestly I didn't wanted to go and he didn't wanted to leave.

I see him running back towards the car and I turned towards the lift and once I got in the lift I see him seeing me till the doors of the lift got closed. I will keep this moment in my heart forever.
I ring my doorbell coming back to the reality of what will happen. My mom opens the door looking at me from up to down and tell them "Get in! You will catch cold" and I smile hearing that line.

"What made you so late? " asks my mom. "Rain! " I say confidently. "Ohh" She says. And for some reason I tell mom that it was Ayesha's birthday todayand we also cut a cake. "Nice!" mom replied. I felt more relieved after saying that to her. My mom's a chill and gem of a person.

And when I get to my room I see both of my elder sisters looking at me and giggling I look at myself and ask "Why are you people laughing huh? ". " So who is he? " they ask in chorus. I freak out. I ignore. "Don't lie now we already saw from window" Says the eldest Hina.

"Azaad" I tell them quietly, so that mom doesn't hear. My sisters are also cool and I share everything with them we fight but also are supportive to each other. And I trust them with anything.

"Ahaaan" Say both. "Love huh? " They ask with a smile. "Best friend" I reply with a wink.

Story apart:Was the rain all about friendship or something else should have happened in the car?
