It isn't often that Akaashi Keiji gets caught off guard. It's quite rare, and difficult to actually make it happen.

Though, when a group of seven well built college students hurdle over you and make you fall, it's quite difficult to not be caught off guard, at least for a moment, that is.

"Hey! Watch where you're going, assholes."

"You weren't watching where you were going, again, dumbass!"

"Again?" After standing and brushing himself off, Akaashi spoke.

"Sorry, this happens a lot, Bokuto is, uh clumsy-" A male, seemingly more reasonable than the rest, spoke over the bickering of the shortest - most angered - one. "We'll keep him out of your way, because you guys look like you mean business more than we do."

"Damn right about that one." Oikawa snarled, crossing his arms, Sugawara groaned. "Yeah, just stay out of our way," The male paused, glaring. "We have classes to get to, and places to be."

"Right! Uh, see you around?" The male hoped for a polite response, only earning Akaashi's brows to knit together. "Hopefully not," He responds. "Keep your clumsy friend out of our way." The male sighs and nods. "We'll see to it," The shortest one - spiked hair and ever present pissed expression on his face - nodded. "Sorry about him."

Akaashi nodded before walking off, brows never unkitting from the positions they held in. "Jeez," Sugawara snarled, Oikawa and himself walking at Akaashi's side. "Never thought well built guys could be so darn annoying." Oikawa mustered a chuckle before agreeing. "That fuckwit needs to watch where he's fucking walking." Akaashi groaned, Sugawara nodded. "A-fucking-greed."

"Who doesn't watch where they're fucking walking? I mean, seriously, that's what eyes were made for!" Akaashi growled.

"Not just that, Keiji."

"Right! Books, and hot men!"

"And this is why Akaashi Keiji is my favourite." Oikawa chuckled, as Akaashi sighed.

"Still a bookworm, though." Sugawara smirked, Akaashi glanced at him. "Always will be, Kou."

"Still wondering why you work at that book store," Oikawa cut in, crossing his arms. "Barely anyone enters it! It's old."

"It's also quiet," Akaashi pouted, shrugging. "Better than fucking socialising at Starbucks with random sleep deprived college students, if you ask me."

Both Sugawara and Oikawa stopped in their tracks, placing hands on their hips. "It's not just college students, Akaashi!" Oikawa frowned. "Hot business men too!"

"Fucking perverts."

"No," Sugawara raised a finger in the air, cutting himself off. "Observers- there's a difference, Keiji."

"I need new fucking friends."

"You say that too much."

"Because it's true, dumbasses!"

Sugawara seemingly fake gasped, clutching at his heart as Akaashi rolled his eyes. "You're making a scene again, plus you're an ass," Akaashi paused, sighing deeply. "I'm out-" He chuckled as he started to walk off. "I'll see you pair tonight!"

"I think he's disappointed in you, Koushi." Oikawa huffed, hand on his cocked hip, head tilted with a confused pout as Sugawara crossed his arms. "Bingo, Oikawa."

Sugawara shoots the male at hand with finger guns, earning nothing more than an eyeroll. "Now I'm disappointed in you." Sugawara chuckles. "Aren't you always?"

"True."

---

Akaashi groans and looks up as he steps into his dorm that afternoon, after all his classes ended for the day, when it was finally down time for a bit.

"Hey, History."

His roommate speaks up, earning nothing more than a tired stare. "Hey, Bio." Akaashi yawns. "That bad?"

"No, my classes were fine, it was how my bad fucking started, Kei."

"How'd your day start then?" Tsukishima chuckles, merely a tease as he pats the seat beside him on the couch. "Okay, asshole, I'm not a dog." Akaashi musters as he rubs his eyes, collapsing in the seat beside Tsukishima. "You sat down anyway, dumbass,"

"Now, tell me, what happened to turn your bad day into a worse one?"

"You know Kuroo's friend?"

"Which one?"

"Spiky hair, tall, really fucking loud." Akaashi describes with a yawn, earning a nod.

"Bokuto? What about him?"

"He fucking trampled over me, made me fall, and then Kuroo's other friend, decided to ask if we'd see each other around."

"Daichi, the polite one. Unless he's angry, I got told he's really fucking scary."

"My point is, people need to watch where they're fucking going! Like, eyes were made for a reason!"

"I'll deal with that tomorrow in class, with Kuroo," Tsukishima sighs at the state of Akaashi. "You make something for dinner and head to bed."

"One, you aren't my mother. Two, I have to study."

"Fine," Tsukishima rolls his eyes. "Are the other two coming tonight?"

"Uh," Akaashi pauses as he stands. "Maybe, I'm not sure."

"And if they come over?"

"Either tell them to fuck off or let them in, your choice." Akaashi yawns again, walking for his room with a groan. "Maybe you should skip studying, just for tonight." Akaashi pauses before nodding as he enters his room.

Immediately collapsing against his bed, face first into his pillow. Almost asleep as his phone goes off.

(19:45) are you up?

(19:45) can i possibly stay the night at yours?

(19:45) my roommate kicked me out bc he has a boy over

(19:47) did he really kick you out?

(19:47) sure, come to my dorm, i'll let you in

(19:48) thank you akaashi!

Akaashi groaned as he stood.

"Why are you up now?"

"Atsumu got kicked from his dorm, apparently his roommate has a guy over again," Akaashi makes his way to the door. "So I said he could sleep on the couch tonight, instead of being in the cold."

---

"Thank you for this, Akaashi." Atsumu speaks, a sheepish smile on his lips as Akaashi hands him a warm drink. "It's nothing," Akaashi nods. "Don't want you getting a cold." As Atsumu takes a sip of the warm drink, Akaashi yawns. "I'll get you some blankets, then I'm heading to bed. My day was fucked." He groaned, Atsumu nodded with a chuckle. "Sounds good to me."

Akaashi nodded as he walked off, collecting three blankets and a single pillow with more than a few yawns, passing his lips.

"You're never usually this exhausted, Keiji."

"Stop worrying, Kei," Akaashi chuckled, handing Atsumu the blankets and pillows. "These should be enough."

"Thank you." Atsumu smiled, earning a nod. "I'm hitting the hay," Akaashi rubbed his eyes as he walked for his room. "Night you two."

"Night, Akaashi."

---

Akaashi Keiji, age 21, definitely not a morning person.

He groans as he forces himself up. Rubbing his eyes as he stands and makes his way to his cupboard to change out of his clothes from yesterday. After a nice warm shower of course.

"Glad to see you're awake." Tsukishima comments, earning nothing other than a huff and scoff. "Yep, wish I'd died though."

"Doesn't everyone?"

"Amen."
