Riddhima was rambling in the hall, pondering over Vansh's advice. What could he possibly mean by it? Who was cheating her?
She was lost in confusion. Nothing was making sense to her. She was walking blankly when she heard Vansh voice from his office room. He sees Riddhima at the entrance and instantly stops speaking.
"Riddhima, come in," Vansh exclaims looking at her.
She hesitantly walks in, examining the surroundings of the room. It was the same room in which she was searching for evidence on her engagement. Now walking into it freely makes her feel something different and new. Maybe something has changed between them from their engagement to now.
Peeking around, she slowly looks on at him.
"Riddhima, I am going out for two days. Keep this phone with you. I'll call you when I am free. Also, stay safe. Don't throw yourselves into danger. I would not be around," Vansh exclaims clutching the brand new phone into her hands.
She looks at it. Was it another trap like the first time he had gifted her a phone or was he genuinely giving it to her?
"O... Okay!" she hesitantly manages to say out, gazing at her small hands perfectly resting inside his big ones as if they were made for each other. They were fit so perfectly as if they were missing parts of the same puzzle.
A small yet satisfactory smile tails up to her lips seeing their hands. His hands were so warm, making her feel protected. Will she be able to stay in this house without him for two days she thought.
Before she could realise anything, she feels the warmth from her hands lost. She frowns at it. However, she then feels the warmth cupping her cheeks. The warmth was so cosy. Then she feels a pair of warm lips pressed onto her forehead. They were resting over there for a while she loved the feeling. She always craved for such gestures.
Unknowingly, her hands go on to rest upon his hands. Holding his hands tightly, she doesn't let him move away. She liked the new feelings raising in her heart as the warmth surrounded her. They were new and something different. Something she never felt.
'Kya kar rahi hai Riddhima? Tu yaha sabot dundhne aayi hai naa ki iski biwi banne. Tu Kabir se pyaar karti hai," her subconscious freaked out, making her come out from her la-la land.
She instantly moves away and a blush creeps on to her cheeks, spreading all its way to her neck too. However, nervousness was clearly there. Vansh frowns at her nervousness. She was his wife. Sighing, he takes a step backward form her while she was again into her floor gawking session.
Her chubby cheeks were now in the darkest shade of red. He wanted to taste them so bad. Maybe he would get a chance in near future. He was going away so that she could have a chance to realise her feelings and about Kabir too. He knew she needed this space otherwise, there were chances she would regret loving him, assuming herself to be cheating Kabir and he didn't want that.
He didn't want his sweet little wife to feel guilty for anything. He knew she had all the rights to be happy. And he would make sure she would be, once Kabir is out of their lives.
"Bye Riddhima," he whispered slowly in her ears as she was gazing the floor.
"Miss me!" he says and disappears out of the room.
Riddhima looks on at him. A smile adorned her face, which she herself didn't know why.
She looks at the phone. It makes her happy to realise that maybe he had started trusting her. Although a part of her reminded her that there was no need to be happy for winning the trust of a monster, she discarded that part.
Her heart was fluttering in happiness by the way he was making her feel. It was so blissful.
A sudden thought breaks all her considerations. Kabir.
She was feeling to go and meet him once. She herself didn't know why. She wanted to see him. Since she had been married to Vansh, she never met him. Neither did he try to contact her. Only she was the one who was trying for ways but he never did anything in these days.
Frowning, she sets out to meet him for once.
Successfully ditching away all the security Vansh had put behind her, she reaches his home. She looked at the nameplate. It read 'Kabir Veer Sharma'. She smiles remembering her memories in the house and her dreams once upon a time associated with that name.
She wanted to become 'Riddhima Kabir Veer Sharma'. She wanted to have a small and happy life with him in this very cottage. But now, she didn't know if her this dream would ever be fulfilled. Her price of love her destroyed her small and simple dreams forever.
A lone tear escaped her eyes reminiscing them. Slowly bending, she peeks into the window of the room, to search for the key. She knew the key would be there near the mesh of the window. As she bends, she finds a lady seated in the centre of the house. Her side profile was visible and she seemed familiar to Riddhima.
Her counter sense was wanting to see who this woman was. Obliging by, she stands there and waits to see the woman's face. The shocker comes as she sees it to be Anupriya. Her eyes widen and she looks shocked.
"Mom, why did you do it? Why did you come out of the house? Now how will we know what is happening there?" she hears a familiar voice exclaim.
Anupriya had a son? She recognises that voice. She closes her eyes, praying it not to be true. Kabir could not be Anupriya's son.
"Because of that Riddhima. All because of that pawn. You set a love trap for her and made her way to the mansion but looks like she had made her way into Vansh's heart and gave place for him in hers too. That bloody pawn is now Mrs. Raisinghania and she ousted me from that house," Anupriya exclaimed with disgust.
She then sees Kabir coming into sight.
"Mom, she will never fall for Vansh. She loves me. Once her work is over, Vansh will kill her and our work of Vansh's downfall will also be done. This is Kabir's plan and it will never fail," Kabir says, with a proud smirk on his face.
A lone tear escapes Riddhima's eyes. She wanted to listen no more. Silently moving off from there, she aimlessly walks towards the house. Everything went numb to her. She just walks blankly. She herself didn't know where her feet were leading her to.
Tears were evaporating from her eyes itself. Not even a single drop fell from her eyes. She just walked expressionlessly. It was as if all her emotions were paralysed.
She didn't know where she reached. A sudden pull on her hand makes her misbalance but she doesn't react. A sudden slap was felt on her cheek. A stinging pain was felt across her cheek. Still, she stands numb. Some voices were being heard to her. They were very much near to her yet, she doesn't react.
A sudden familiar warmth flooded once again around her. She lifts her face to see Vansh holding her. Tears spring out from her eyes seeing him. What would've happened if she didn't learn the truth? She didn't know. Would she live all her life guilty for misunderstanding him? She didn't know this answer too.
She just stared at him. He was speaking something which mattered the least to her. She was just staring at him. More guilt flooded her mind.
She looked on as Vansh led her to the room and made her sit in the centre of the bed. He then made her drink some water.
She couldn't control anymore. She didn't know how he would react knowing it. As he cups her cheeks, making hr look into his eyes, she bursts out. Digging her face into his stomach, she cries off wildly.
"I am sorry"
