You and some other soldiers go into a room. It looked similar to a classroom, except instead of kids coming in it was a bunch of grown adults. Apparently Captain had an announcement to make, but none of you really had an idea of what it could be about. You sat down in a chair. Captain was standing in front of all the soldiers leaning against the wall. A few other soldiers came in and sat down before he stood up straight. "Alright, soldiers. I'm pretty sure you're wondering why I gathered all of you here. Well that's becaauuuse, we have a new recruit joining use today." He explained. Everybody turned to each other to discuss who it could be. You turned to some random dude sitting next to you.
"Who do you think it could be?" You asked him. "Maybe they're a total hottie." He answered. You scoff. "Yeah, a hot babe is gonna be joining the army." You said sarcastically. "Alright, settle down now." Captain spoke up." He opened the door and poked his head out. "You can come in now." He softly said. "I don't wanna go in. They're all gonna be looking at m-me." A panicked voice said. "Oh come on." Captain groaned as he dragged in a young looking sniper, maybe about in his late 20s, he was panicky and skittish. He covered his face out of embarrassment as Captain introduced him. "Everyone, meet Jeremy." He said. "H-Hi." He mumbled. If you said that he wasn't just a bit cute, you'd be lying.
"I have already decided on his partner." Captain turned to you, and you look back up. "Y/N, you'll be Jeremy's partner." He said. Jeremy peeks through his fingers to see you. "Hi..." He says nervously. "Hi." You simply greet him back.
