The stranger

(chpt. 2 here we go idk if im going to be able to finished this chpt. today I do have things I want to do like grind for primos in genshin bc im saving for my queen Hu tao but I also want coconut in 2.1 so I'm saving for both. Also I have art class today at 5:15- 6:30  anyway heres chpt. 2 prolly gonna make chpt. 3 tm)

-  I place the toolbox by the front of the fenced in garden area in my backyard. I flip open the top of the toolbox to find a watering can, and a trowel. Everything else was piled on top of each other in a corner space in the garden. In that pile was a spade, rake, bow rake and a weed puller. I skip over to the hose and fill the watering can up to the top. I drag the heavy watering can back leaving the baby blue paint at the bottom chipped and cracked. You could see the rusted metal behind the crackled lines. I heave the watering can into the garden and pour the dripping water into the blossoming tulips. The petunias looked especially crumpled and droopy so I made sure to sprinkle them with a generous amount of water. I then pulled the newly sprouting weeds out of the fresh dirt and called it a day.  

- I decided to give myself a short break so I paced back into the house leaving behind slightly muddy footprints "Damn now I have to clean that up too" I lethargically grabbed the lemonade from the fridge I could hear faint noises from my mom's room.  she was finally getting up. I swiped the sugar from the lower cabinet and added two tablespoons to my already sweet lemonade. I shook out one yellow and white striped paper straw and let it fall to the bottom of my lemonade glass. sugar particles  were still visible through the yellow of the lemonade so I stirred my straw to dissolve the particles. 

(Time skip)

- I brought my phone outside while I drank my lemonade after putting away the gardening tools. I scrolled Instagram enjoying the summer air and my sweet lemonade. The glass was now gathering droplets of water on the outside. When I looked up from my phone I saw a suspicious person at the neighbor's house. They were knocking at the door In a black hoodie, their face was covered and their hands were in their pockets so I didn't get to see who it was. They were carrying a cage of some sort covered by a white cloth. The door to the neighbor's house suddenly opened  and the person was let inside. The door was slammed and the only evidence left was the jingle of the bells attached to the top of the door. I felt the grip of a hand on my left shoulder and jumped, spilling some of my lemonade on my lap.

- "Oh, I didn't mean to scare you. Just wanted to say good morning." I looked back to see my mom touching my shoulder. she pulled away. "Oh, yeah g'morning" she looked tired. I quickly picked up my lemonade and and phone and went inside. I ran up to my room placing my phone and lemonade on the counter. I changed into new pants and ran back down to get the things I had left behind on the counter. I should probably just stay upstairs for now. 

(Time skip)

- I sighed and pulled a manga from my bookshelf I started flipping through the pages. It was 3 am again and yet again I was bored. By the time I finished the manga it was around 4 in the morning so I closed my eyes and fell to sleep.

(Ok I'm gonna stop there for chpt. 2  I have a lot more ideas so there will be way more chapters this'll prolly go on for a while so yeah. I'll be updating prolly hope you enjoyed chapter 2!)
