"Damn, it doesn't make it any easier that none of us specialize in stuff like this." Sato sighed while fervently searching for a robot part, he moved aside some rocks and debris but it was futile.

"There might be something in the trees," Sero slipped back his mask and aimed his elbow at a nearby branch, "If I go up, I might be able to find a part."

"Yeah, I'll keep on searching down below. Just let me know when you find something!"

"Got you bro!" Sero grinned before zapping away at once, leaving his partner who got to combing the forest again.

Sato could hear Bakugou's explosions in the distance and the rapid searching of everyone. It was such a relief that everyone was divided in groups to search different parts of the forests, but then again, why was this proving so difficult?

"Aizawa-sensei really outdid himself!" Sato chuckled in pride, "...always finding ways to really make us sweat!"

"Sato! Up ahead!" Sero alerted and began moving forward.

The trees and bushes ruffled as Sato ran in time with Sero, he noticed his partner swinging from branch to branch above him.

"Are we close!"

"Yes––"

At once the swinging came to an abrupt stop. Sato halted in his tracks upon noticing the change and the silence.

He stared up above and gulped, he didn't remember saying if they were close, or did he say that?

"Sero! Are you okay!?" He asked.

"I'm fine, I just got tangled up in this tree. I need to get this tape off." Sero grunted and Sato released a sigh he didn't know he was holding, "Do you see the part?"

"Uh, no–!?" Sato froze in place the moment those words left his lips. His fingers and body ran numb and he couldn't move an inch. 'What is going on!? I.. I can't move!'

"Well I can." Shinsou hopped down from the tree with Tsuyu, whose tongue was coiled around an immobile Sero.

She set Sero aside as the two made their way past Sato and took the robot part cleverly hidden in the ground.

"Thanks for the hard work, when we're far from here, you'll forget about seeing us and this part and Sero will wake up."

Sato could only stare at Shinsou and Tsuyu as they fled up into the trees while his vision blurred with each passing second.

"I sense something." Jirou mumbled while listening keenly to the sounds in the ground. She leaned on a tree bark with her brows furrowed, it sounded like footsteps, lithe weight, getting closer and closer and clos–

She whirled back only to see Kaminari laughing, prompting her to groan in annoyance.

"You dumbass!" She yelled while punching his arm, "We're on a mission quit goofing around!"

"Sorry, you were just so focused and cute, I couldn't help it." He chuckled while Jirou rolled her eyes.

"At least did you find anything?"

"Unfortunately no, I want us to hurry up and get this over with." He threw his arms on his hips and stared up at the sky, the way the green trees towered above them swaying to the movements of the wind and the way the light filtering through their holes fell on them. It would have been a peaceful sight if they weren't on a time limit. "At least we have one, we just need two more and we'll be done."
