"I can't believe we were just lying down in the middle of the forest during the test." Sero groaned while Satou was seated behind him with Kouda.
"Just you, I found you sitting down." The brunette sighed and rubbed the nape of his neck. "It was so weird."
"Yeah, still doesn't make sense," The raven haired male sighed, "At least we're going to eat something good. You still making that cake?" Sero peered back over the seat with a grin.
"Yeah. You know how it is." Satou returned with a smile.
"Look at those two." Mineta gritted his teeth in envy while directing the attention of Sero, Satou and Kouda to whatever caught his.
Kaminari and Jirou were seated together talking and it was obvious that Kaminari was flirting but it wasn't working on her as usual.
"That bastard had to get paired up with a girl!"
"You seem to be over your Mount Lady trauma. How quick." Sero teased and lavished in the young boy's terrified expression.
"She's evil. Women are scary." He trembled and could only remember how the beautiful hero worked him down to the bone.
All the guys laughed heartily at Mineta's words. The bus moved smoothly, often hitting rocks on the pathway as the evening glow shone down on them. Some of the students talked while others were caught up on their phones, a select few were asleep.
Kaminari hummed softly as he shared an earphone with Jirou. He was the one in charge of playing the songs and Jirou couldn't held but comment on how he was a pop trendy guy.
"Yeah I like those catchy pump me up songs!"
"It's obvious that you do." Jirou chuckled, "If you didn't I would be surprised, but I don't really like songs like this so I'll pass."
Kyouka pulled back as Kaminari stared, he hesitated whether to continue listening or to start up a conversation. He ended up choosing the second option.
"You didn't have to put it away, you can continue listening." Jirou commented.
"No, no it's fine. You know me I get bored easily. I wanna talk." He tucked his phone in his pocket and turned to face her. "So anything new?"
"What do you mean?" She sighed.
"Got any new songs?"
Jirou felt her cheeks flush red at the implication that he was interested in her works. However, she couldn't help but recall that Shinsou wrote a song too and wanted to show her. Jirou bit her bottom lip and her exhaled.
"No. I've just been practicing that's all." She shifted her gaze past him to see a duo sitting opposite them. That duo that seemed to create this feeling deep in her guts that she didn't understand.
Shinsou sat by the window as Tsuyu rested her head on his shoulder and slept. He stared outside the window, watching the city in the distance pass them by. She clenched her jaw before knocking herself out of this feeling creeping up on her.
'What's wrong with me? But why is she sleeping on Shinsou's shoulder? She could've just slept on the chair normally... And he's there without a care in the world, not even a glance my way. No seriously what's wrong with me, he doesn't owe me anything. Yes he does, an apology! Was he just saying what was on his mind back in the forest... Is that how he truly feels about me?'
"Jirou are you okay?" Kaminari asked while clicking his fingers in front of her face, "You spaced out."
"Ah–" She sat back down and sank into her seat, "I'm fine, I'm just cold... The AC."
