A British accent came from behind me, making me turn around and smile. I love the British accent. It seems so much more interesting than the American one.

"Hey, do you know where the closest café, uh coffee shop... is?" He spoke very quiet; I could barely hear him. The mysterious man looked very familiar, and cute, I must say.

"Yea, just around the corner." I pointed to where the road curves left. "Do you want me to show you?"

I looked down and twiddled my thumbs, nervous for his answer. I don't know why I'm so nervous.

"Yea, thatd be perfect thanks, as long as youre not busy?" A smile appeared on his face. "Oh, I'm Tom, by the way."

Tom pushed out his hand for me to shake.

"Oh yea, I'm y/n y/l/n." I smiled and shook his hand. "And I'm supposed to be meeting a friend, but she's late. I'll just text her." I took out my phone and started messaging my friend.

Y/n: You're late and I've met this cute boy, so I'm going to the coffee shop with him.

Amelia: Oooooooo, you need to tell me everything after. And I'm sorry I'm late I got held up at work, but it seems like its a good think Im late!! Love you and have funnnnn!

Y/n: Love you too :) x

"Everything good?" Tom asked, making me jump. I forgot he was there.

"Yep! Lets go!" I smiled at him

We started walking towards the bend in the road, talking about ourselves and each other. We've got a lot in common, surprisingly. We arrived at the coffee shop, and I was getting ready to walk off, when...

"Hey y/n, do you wanna get coffee with me? I'll pay!"

Was this a date? Was I going on a date with a person I just met? No, he probably just wants to say thanks for directions.

"Yea sure!" I followed Tom into the café and sat down at a table.

"Coffee? Tea?" Tom asked, bending over the chair closer to me. It was quite loud in the coffee shop.

"Just a cappuccino will be okay, thanks!" I said, looking into his piercing brown eyes. I caught myself staring and smiling at him, when he walked away.

A few minutes later, he came back with two cups in his hands.

"Here you go." Tom place it down in front of me, then sat down opposite me.

"Thanks." I take a small sip of my coffee, but it immediately burns my throat. Ow, it's hot." I quickly sat the cup back onto the table, trying to cool my hands on my legs.

I looked up at Tom and saw him staring at me. He instantly bursted out laughing.

"Y/n, youve got a little something..." he pointed to my lip, while laughing. "Here, let me get it."

Tom leaned forward and put his thumb on my lip, washing away my froth mustache. He didnt move his thumb, and just stared into my eyes. I couldnt help but stare back. He was beautiful. His hair was lightly gelled back but also, fell onto his forehead. His dark brown eyes glinted in the coffee shop lighting. Wow, hes gorgeous I could look at him all day.

My phone buzzed on the table, making Tom look away and sit back down and ruining the cutest moment Ive ever had in my life. I picked it up and saw a text from Lia.

Amelia: Heyyyy, hows it going? x

Y/n: Good, until your text ruined a cute moment, we were having...

Amelia: Oops sorry, Ill leave you to it. Do everything Id do ;)

I rolled my eyes, because Lia would do anything with anyone, which I will not do. I turned on silent mode and put my phone in my bag.

"Sorry about that."

"No, no dont worry. Let me guess, your friend annoying you about our date?" Tom whispered, leaning across the table, with a smirk on his face, his white teeth glinting in the dim lighting.

"This is a date?" I whispered back, leaning forward, making our faces very close. I tried to do a fake 'shocked' expression, but it wasn't very good.

Tom's facial expressions changed, his smirk dropped from his face and he leaned backwards on his chair.

"Well, I mean it doesnt have to be, if you don't want it..." Tom said, with a sad expression on his face.

I felt immediately guilty for making him feel like this.

"Its a date." I whispered to him, with a smile on my face.

Tom's face instantly lit up and he even did a weird little dance. It made me get butterflies in my stomach thinking that Tom likes me and wanted to go on a date with me. Even though I've only known him for an hour.

We both finished our coffees and stood up to leave.

"Do you want me to walk you home?" Tom put his hand around my waist and whispered in my ear. His arm made me jump, but I also felt comfortable in his arms. I felt nervous and I couldn't speak. I just nodded.

Tom started walking out of the coffee shop, leading me next to him, his arm still wrapped around my waist. The sky was a red-y, yellow-y colour. It was absolutely beautiful.

We talked the whole way back to my apartment. He talked about his brothers and his beloved Tessa. And I told him about my job and that I have lived in Atlanta for about four years.

"Wait, so you're THE Tom Holland? The one who played Spider-Man?" I stopped walking and looked at him. He slipped his arm away from my waist and replied with a simple nod. "Ha, I knew you looked familiar. Don't worry though, I don't really care about the money and fame. You seem like a really nice and cute guy.

Toms cheeks flushed red, and he looked down in embarrassment. It made my stomach flutter that I made him embarrassed by saying hes a nice guy. I've only known Tom for about two hours, but he's made me laugh more than anyone else in my life has...
