Teddy's POV:
It's been a month after Henry's surgery everything went smoothly there were not major complications and everything seems the it way should be.
Today he came to the hospital to get his last check done, he said he was going to meet me in a consult room after he got his labs and scans done.
When I walked in the room I saw Cristina and Dr. Roosevelt (the other cardio attending at at Seattle grace), holding scans and Henry with a huge smile on his face which made he's beautiful green eyes sparkle more than they used to. After I had walked in Cristina told me that the problem in Henry's heart has been resolved and there was no more need for more surgeries.
"I'm cured" he said with a big smile.
I run to hug him and give him a kiss, "im so happy for you " I said while I was holding my tears then I smiled. Cristina interrupted me "he still has diabetes but I'm confident that with Dr. Bailey's device you will leave a pretty normal life"
"thank you" I told Cristina and then nodded to Dr. Roosevelt
After that Henry and I decided to go home.
Henry's POV:
After the amazing news teddy and I went home and as we were crossing the door, I just kept thinking wow I'm really in love with this woman, so before my head could think one more second I told her.
"I wanna marry you" I said, and before teddy could say anything, I continue talking "I know we're technically married but I wanna marry you for real in a church with you in a wedding dress because I have never felt this for anyone and I want to be with you for the rest of my life have kids with you grow old together Teddy, I'm in love with you and I always will be"
After I had finish I waited teddy look confused but in a weirdly way happy, after a few seconds she smiled at me and said:
"ask me"
"what" I responded
"asked me to marry you" she said I smiled got down on one knee and I said the most important five words I had ever said
"Teddy will you marry me"
Teddy's POV:
"Teddy will you marry me" he said
With a huge smile I responded "YES Henry I will marry you" and then I broke down in tears, we both kept smiling, the I lifted him of the ground and we kissed.
