Killing was never something we all wanted to do, but something we had to do in order to survive. They say that the past can never be erased and that every little impact has a huge consequence on what is to come, yet we never lived like that. We lived free, never scared of death because death was already with us. It was a gift that we all longed for and desired.
I remember that day, we were all filled with life and yet after that encounter, we became shells of our past self, filled with nothing but longingness for death. The loved he promised us was something that we all used to yearn for yet when it came, it came in the form of something unexpected.
We should have chosen carefully, we should have seen all the warning signs that shouted at us; and yet we chose to turn a blind eye to it all in the hopes of finally finding a home, a family, a place where we could belong.
