Planning boards are extremely simple and really useful when planning out a story which spontaneously arrived in your thoughts.
All you need is something to write on, a writing utensil, and your imagination. Don't forget this book!

Because I do not want to reveal anything about my own upcoming stories, I am using Cinderella as an example, because nearly everyone knows that story.
As seen below, I have divided my page into three parts: the bigger one is empty while the smaller ones at the top have either the title or three boxes, each for different cover ideas.
