Me and Riolu had camped the night in the meadow due to there was no Pokemon centres around that we could sleep In, luckily I came prepared. Riolu played around in the meadow whilst I made us both some breakfast. Riolu sat next to me eating his favourite food whilst I had to eat cold beans I shivered it tasted a bit stale but it wouldn't kill me. " better get going Riolu " Riolu and I stood up whilst I placed the egg in my jumper for Riolu to hold.
The professor had been right me and Riolu did share a great bond over the past days we had got to know each other better. Riolu walked next to me all the way as we came to the clearing of the woods playing tag and chasing each other round the oak tree. We both tumbled down the hill laying on our backs looking up at the sky. Riolu climbed the tree to see if he could see our first town anywhere nearby then he jumped down gesturing me to follow whilst I ran down the hill following him with the egg as our reward.
Following the dusty path ahead we came to a building with an orange top saying Pokemon centre " ok this is it Riolu lets ask for help " Riolu followed close behind as we entered we saw a lady with pink at the desk, she greeted us with a friendly smile " welcome to the Pokemon centre I'll take your Pokemon for a sec " I placed Riolu in his poke ball whilst she starting healing him on a machine " um do you know who could help me find a sphere around here like a type one in the legends " as I took Riolu back letting him out as his face lit up with happiness. " your looking for the water type sphere located in the lake aren't you " she looked at me suspiciously " only the gym leader can help you if you beat him he gives you the TM surf " she turned back around to help another Pokemon. How was I gonna beat a gym leader me and Riolu had only traveled 3 days together " um who can train me ?" I asked politely the lady turned around " a man in a dark looking house can teach your Riolu some powerful moves have a nice day " and she walked off for her lunch break
Sighing I walked out and saw a shattered looking house he lived In that oh well I knocked on the door 3 times " GO AWAY " jumping back I quickly balanced before falling onto my back " i just need your help to train can you do that please help me " I held my breath knew what was coming and it came " GO AWAY FILTHY CHILD I WILL NEVER HELP " I walked away miserably and sat next to Riolu he hugged me and held his head down low at least we tried tears rolled down my cheeks and by looking at Riolu they did for him too...
