"Dad, can't you just...give Thomas a little happiness or something?!" Virgil almost yelled. He, like everyone else, was frustrated beyond belief.

"Kiddo, I can't do that," Patton replied, with a hint of regret laced in his voice. Logan sighed.

"Patton's right. As we've discussed previously, in Moving On parts one and two, Patton encompasses all of Thomas's feelings, and he can only sway them based on how he's feeling." Virgil nodded and was about to respond when Roman cut in.

"Is there something I'm missing?" Everyone looked at him as if he'd just said something crazy.

"C'mon Princey, are you really that dumb?" Virgil asked.

"Now Virgil, be nice, he may have just forgotten what happened during Moving On." Virgil rolled his eyes.

"When did we do an episode called Moving On?" Virgil sighed in frustration.

"Roman, seriously?! We filmed it before the Christmas episode, remember?! Thomas was upset about Guys and Dolls and we ended up going to Patton's room!" Virgil was absolutely furious at this point. Granted, they'd all been chatting for a little under two hours and making no progress, but it annoyed Virgil more than anything that Roman wasn't taking this seriously.

"I'm sorry? I still don't remember," Roman replied.

"Well do you remember the Hogwarts episode? That's the one we did right before it," Patton asked. Roman nodded.

"Yeah, but I don't remember Moving On or anything like that. Although, it did strike me weird that it took so long to get the Christmas episode out after the Hogwarts one. I figured it might've been because of how long it took to get the song right, so I never asked." Everyone went silent. It appeared to be a total anomaly as to why Roman couldn't remember those specific episodes, until Virgil managed to put two and two together.

"Deceit!" Virgil hissed.

"I was called?" Janus appeared next to Logan, leaning against the staircase and fidgeting with the cuff of his glove.

"You disguised as Roman, didn't you?!" Janus backed away from the staircase a bit when Virgil yelled at him and smiled.

"But Roman's right there, is he not? And he's been here the whole time, at least I assume that to be the case," Janus replied. Virgil was about to yell again, but Logan stopped him.

"Virgil, don't." Virgil huffed and crossed his arms, glaring at Janus in pure hatred. "And Janus, Virgil isn't referring to this particular conversation. We're actually discussing Moving On, an episode Roman appears to not remember the events of, or even happening at all for that matter."

"So The Prince can't remember something, and you automatically assume I'm to blame? It almost hurts to think you'd point the finger at me," Janus paused. "But it's to be expected I suppose. After all, I'm the bad guy, right?" He shot an innocent glance at Patton when he said this, who was quick to take Janus's side.

"He's right, it wasn't him! We shouldn't be blaming him, there's probably tons of other reasons why Roman can't remember!" The other light sides stared at Patton in shock. Of course, he did have a point, but what other reason would Roman not remember the episodes?

Janus laughed. "I never said it wasn't me, now did I?" Patton looked at him, disappointed. "I figured Roman's personality would be the easiest to mimic, seeing as he's got the most stereotypical one here. And it appears I was right, after all, you couldn't tell apart a fake from the real thing." Roman glanced around the room and tried to stop the tears building up in his eyes.

"That's not true!" Virgil retorted.

"Oh? So you mean to say you did recognize me, but for some reason didn't point it out? I know you were still evil but come on Virgil, how do you expect anyone here to believe that?" Virgil fell silent. "I knew I was right."
