L/N change the awkward atmosphere after being awake only to see an unfamiliar person in front of her calling for doctors in happiness, "Oh yeah, I'm Mieko Ikeda, the person who helped you when you're on the verge of death remember?" He told her
She thought for a second and remember a specific moment where someone is shouting at her when she already closed her eyes from the immense pain from all of her body parts. "Oh! You are the person! Thank you, I guess" Mie uttered a welcome
Before L/N could ask more about what happened when she is in a coma, A doctor went inside the room grabbing her and Mie's attention. "Good to see you, Doc" Mie greeted him, "You too, So, Miss L/N do you feel any unwanted pain anywhere in your body?" He asked
"Uhm... When I try to move my lower body I feel like in some pain that I can't move it much" L/N answered and shoved the blanket at the side to see tons of bruises and has her both legs with plaster casts which is uncomfortable for her. "About that, You might need to use a wheelchair for a few weeks" as soon as he spoke, L/N looked at him confused. "I- I don't need a wheelchair!"
"But Miss you have to"
"You don't understand! I really don't need those!" L/N told him with full of desperation shown to her, how could she train for the upcoming event with that wheelchair? She thought and decided to get off the hospital bed but Mie and the Doctor didn't let her.
"Hey! L/N! Calm down!" Mie let out and grab onto her hand trying to pull her back at the hospital bed, "Ikeda please let me go! I need to see Inumaki!"
Mie froze on his spot after hearing that familiar name, while L/N tried to get out, Mie stood there trying to recall where he heard that name.
"Uhhh are you all gonna introduce to me?" Mie asked trying to stop Inumaki from biting Gojo's hand that was wrap around his mouth, "Yes! This is Inumaki one of my students!" Gojo jovially squished Inumaki cheeks.
"Hey, there young boy!" Mie snapped back to reality after seeing the Doctor trying to get his attention, "I need you to call Sir Gojo and pass it to her" Of course he listened to what he said and take out his phone, and dialed Gojo. Not long after Gojo answered the call
"Hello? Do you need something?" Gojo spoke through the phone, "Hi! Yes, wait I'll pass it to her" Mie then passed the phone to L/N, "Gojo-sensei?! You need to get me out of here! I'm not some crazy girl!" L/N shouted
"L/N! Calm down! But... Is it on speaker mode?" L/N looks back at the phone to see it is in speaker mode, "Yes why?" She inquired, "Oh then can you turn it off" L/N pressed to undo the speaker mode leaving it for her to only hear what Gojo saying.
"F/N, I was supposed to bring you back to Jujutsu High after you got into an accident, but those damn humans didn't and let you stay there, but don't worry you'll get discharged in a few days" Gojo tried to lighten her mood up but it still didn't work for her
"But... How 'bout the exchange event? Now that I'm here with that stupid wheelchair, I won't be able to show my skills" L/N sadly pouted while looking at the plaster cast on her legs. "F/N... The exchange even ended days ago when you were still in a coma" She couldn't believe what she heard, tears began to form in her eyes but still hold it not wanting to cry in front of two people.
'Does that mean... All of those training I spend and the wounds that I had was all for nothing?' L/N thought
"Does that mean... I'm still on the same rank?" L/N lowly asked feeling disappointed. "Yes, are you sad? Wait..." L/N stayed waiting for what he wanted to say to her. "Shake?!" Her ear twitched after hearing her lover's voice for the first time after she woke up. "Say hi Inumaki! It's F/N!"
"Toge? Hey, I miss you so much" L/N confessed as her heart began to feel at ease, all of the big emotions building inside of her were all gone after hearing Inumaki. "Kelp" Inumaki greeted normally but deep down he wanted to go and hug her like he used to. He was the only one who could understand her emotion the way she talks just explain that she is either disappointed or miserable about something.
"Oops looks like we will be needing to hang up, Inumaki sa your final words to her" Gojo told him and Inumaki was ready to tell her the words he wanted to say.
"Umeboshi" Inumaki heartily confessed to her brought L/N to feel a blush filling her cheeks, "I love you too" L/N uttered but Mie heard it. He thought she was just saying it to her parents and didn't mind it. "Well, we got to go now! We will be there tomorrow have some time with annoying pom!" Before L/N could ask who is the annoying pom, Gojo ended the call. She passed back the phone to its original owner and lay down to her right side only making Mie and the Doctor see her back. They knew it's a sign that she wanted to be alone so they quietly went out of the room giving L/N a space
"Well... It looks like she'll be needing to be alone for a quiet time, but be sure to take her around the garden to lighten her moods up" The doctor bid a bye and went to another patient while Mie sat down at the chair near L/N's room.
He didn't know what could be something that could at least make her happy. Mie sat down thinking about what he should do, an idea came to his mind. "Oh! Everyone loves food so I should get her too!" He stood up and went out to go to the nearest cafe since hospital food will just sadden her
"L/N! Be sure to smile a lot later! It's a shame with that beautiful face of yours is frowning"
