"hey beomgyu !!" kai waved as he stood on my doorstep. kai was my only friend, he helped me throughout all my tough times and struggles and i appreciate him for that.
"hello." i deadpanned, my voice echoing through the empty halls of my house. normally; my parents would be here but they left me here to go on a trip. usually i'll be fine with it and stay in my room, but today i was especially miserable, i couldn't even write in my diary.
because of that girl.
"hello? earth to gyu?" kai spoke, laced with concern. "i'm fine." i blankly replied.
"beomgyu, im worried about you. you don't eat even when i knew and told you it wasn't healthy to. i love you so much it hurts to see you like this. we don't go to the same school and you don't seem to voice your concerns or thoughts to me. i'm worried gyu" kai seemed perturbed, i didn't want to cause him to be worried. that was the last thing i wanted.
kai seemed to read my expression and began to digress. "uh, so a new coffee shop opened nearby. want to go try it out?"
i nodded, only because i was sick and tired of sitting and sulking alone. secretly happy i got to spend time with you.
. . .
"one iced matcha latte please!!" kai ordered, "uhh beomgyu what would you like?" kai whispered in my ear
i looked up from my phone to stare at the cashier, it was you.
your black hair covering your eyes, you wore your pretty glasses that i always compliment you for wearing. the apron hugging your small waist. you smiled. i smiled back; it quickly faded though.
she had her hair in a ponytail today, she wore a crop top and a skirt, with a black belt. she had a perfect body, perfect face. her earings now silver dangly ones,
the ones that i knew belonged to you.
