i panicked, you being oblivious as always.
"bye, soobin." i said half-heartedly. "but- but my matcha latte !!" kai pouted before i dragged him out of the pop up cafe, glaring at the boy.
i found a park with a huge tree; it looked pretty empty. i immediately sat down - patting the area next to me.
"kai. i like soobin." i mumbled. "but he likes this girl. she's skinny, pretty and basically perfect... i'm just, jealous." i vented.
"beomgyu..." kai trailed off, engulfing me in a hug. it was loving and soft, i found myself beginning to cry, tears staining my cheeks. "i lost 7 kilos in 5 days." i admitted, it felt good to finally let it out, all my bottled emotions finally being poured out.
"GYU!! you need to eat. please try to. at least eat one meal a day and progress." he stuck out his pinky, just like we did when we were younger "pinky promise." he looked me in the eye, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"i'll try, i'll try my best." i giggled -- soon turned into a fit of laughter.
it felt good.

two weeks later
[ sry for time skips i normally hate them but i lost motivation :c ]
"beomgyu! soobin's here!" my mom called from downstairs. i ran down a smile plastered on my face.
i may or may not have been talking with you more, we began to grow closer and you decided to come over today.
"hey gyu" you let out.
"i have something to tell you",
i nodded and we climbed up the stairs. you sat on the edge of my bed and i awkwardly sat beside you.
"yeah?" i said laying down as i watched the glow-in-the dark stars glow on the ceiling.
"i broke up with her" you admitted, looking down - not bearing to make eye contact with me.
"y-you.. you what ?" i said, voice soft - laced with disbelief.
"why would you? she's perfect . . . i mean- so are you !! i just . ."
"because i'm gay, beomgyu. i'm gay." you mumbled.
"o-oh . . . " i sighed; partially in relief if i'm being completely honest.
"i'm so proud of you soo !! i'll always support you" i said, grabbing the sides of your hoodie and looking you in the eye.
you smiled. it was so pretty, i could stare at you all day, i love the way your eyes turn into crescents and your cheeks puff out. you were so beautiful.
i grabbed the top of my sweatpants and pulled it up, it was getting looser - no matter how tight i tie the strings.
i hope you didn't notice though.
your eyes locked on mine for a while before you awkwardly hugged me "thank you." you mumbled, nuzzling you head into my neck.
you looked back at me, eyes glossy. you had tear stains on your cheeks.
"soo !! don't cry you're going to make me cry." i sniffled, giggling a bit.
i wiped your tears with my right thumb, happy to be with you again.
