Confiding in Shelley

It had been a few months Cam still hadn't spoken to Tracy about anything all she wanted to do was talk to her about everything but couldn't risk loosing her she knew she had to do something to keep Tracy in her life.

Tracy had left Cam alone for a while to let her think about things, Tracy was in the living room watching tv as she received a text from Cam saying:

"Hey you thanks for not going on at me to talk to you, I no how worried you are and I'm sorry for that, I just can't let you down or loose you I am going to figure this out! Just no I love you very much x"

Tracy read the message as she wrote back:

"I just wish there was something I could do, hope you get it sorted! I don't want to loose you two and love you to x"

Tracy sent the message and put her phone down looking at the tv, she looked out to the garden watching everyone outside. As the day went on Tracy was in her room reading a book, she didn't want to speak to anyone so just stayed out of the way.

Cam had stayed in her house the day as she looked at the time she phoned Shelley. She looked through her contacts scrolling down to Shelley's name as she pressed to call her as it ringed Shelley picked up the phone. "Hello" Shelley spoke, "hi Shelley it's Cam..." Cam said quietly. "Oh hi Cam everything alright?" She asked, "erm....I need to talk to you" Cam said her voice a little croaky. "Course come over" Shelley smiled, "thanks I'll be over soon" Cam said as they said there goodbyes and Cam got into her Car driving to the dumping ground she parked up getting out of the car, she headed inside going to the office knocking on.

"Come in" Shelley shouted, Cam came inside shutting the door. As Shelley looked over at het she noticed the bruise on her face, "Cam...what happened..." Shelley asked. "That's what I've come to talk to you about" Cam's voice broke as she came and sat down. "What's happened..." Shelley asked concerned. "Where do I begin..." Cam looked down, "from the beginning" Shelley smiled putting her hand on Cam's hand. Cam nodded noticing Shelley's hand as she took a big sigh.

"Before I knew Tracy...I think it was like three years before I met her, I was in a relationship...an abusive relationship and er he got sent down I moved away so he couldn't find me...that's when I started doing what I love being a writer and I thought that was it I was never going to see him again....Then he got my address I don't even no how! He wrote to me saying he'd changed and I couldn't go there again and I met up with him twice the first time he hit me...and I didn't no what to do...so I stopped seeing Tracy to keep her safe I would never want her to get hurt but then he was just turning up, I didn't want him there I don't want him in my life...my biggest fear through all of this is loosing Tracy" Cam breathed heavily as she broke down.

"Oh Cam, you did the right thing in telling me...have you spoken to the police?" Asked Shelley, "no I can't do it on my own!" Admitted Cam. "Well firstly your not on your own, secondly I'll be there and thirdly you are not going to loose Tracy" Smiled Shelley. "What about social services" Cam asked worriedly, "let me worry about them" Shelley looked at Cam keeping hold of her hand. "I've got something else to say to..." Cam said a little quietly, "what's that?" Shelley worriedly asked. "I've been seeing someone for a while, she doesn't no about any of this she knows about Tracy I just don't no how Tracy would react" Cam admitted, "I think Tracy will understand more than you think she just likes to see you happy" Shelley giggled.

After a while Cam got up as she headed to the door "I'll come round tomorrow sort something out" Shelley followed her. "Thank you" Cam smiled as she walked out heading out the door. Tracy came out of the living room seeing Cam and Shelley she headed out to them "what's going on?" Tracy asked, Cam looked over seeing Tracy "Erm I was just talking to Shelley about things" Cam sighed. "About what" Tracy rolled her eyes, "never you mind just go back inside" interrupted Shelley. Tracy sneered and headed back inside she looked to Cam and said there goodbyes.
