We pulled into the driveway of a decent sized house. It was a plain grey colour with a big wooden door with one pot of flowers on either side.

"Its nothing special but I call it home and you can too from now one." He said giving off a little smile

"That's so cheesy!"
I nudge him as I say so with a smile.

He walks me closer to the door as we do I remember what my dad did to me the previous night and I knew that Nick hadn't found out yet. He opened the door signaling for me to go in first.

"Ladies first."

"No, it's your house you go first."

"No, guests first as always."

"Whyyyy."

"Your so stubborn just go."
He starts grinning.

I eventually go in first.

"See now that wasn't difficult was it?"

"Haha I know I know."
I smile.

He leads me to the kitchen table and pulls out a chair for me to sit.

"You sit there I'm just going to grab the medicine box, I'll be back."

I nod and he turns around to get it. I was a little nervous after all I had never gotten this close to a boy let alone go to his house! He came back rather quickly. He took a bowl from the cupboard and went to the sink to fill it with warm water and got a cloth too. He kneeled down by my feet.

"I'm just going to disinfect your cuts okay"

"Okay."

"I'll try be gentle."
He smiled a little as he started.

"Oww..."
I muttered trying not to make it obvious that it hurt a little.

"I'm sorry."

"Dont worry about it, I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You look a bit pale."

"Really... I feel fine."

A few minutes later he stood up and cleaned out the bowl and washed his hands.

"I'm going to feel bad I mean your doing all this and-"

"Don't start with all that... just think of it as returning the favour when you took care of me after I helped you with that guy, you remember right."

"Yeah I remember it all too well. So do you have any school work to do?"

"No..."

"Dont lie, if you need to do it for tomorrow then you have to do it."

"Okay okay... I have math but.... I dont understand it."

"I can try help you."

"Ummm. I dont know."

"Dont be embarrassed if you dont understand I know how you feel , and trust me I'll feel so stupid if I can't help."

"Are you sure I mean I can just do it later."

"I have to do it some time too."

Nick nodded and got his bag and mine at the front door where we left it. We took out our books and got a pen and calculator out aswell. It took both of us a few minutes to get into the equations but eventually we started doing it together and we both understood fairly well.
