The past

Leon's POV
A man is talking to Jason shen may and Leon while leon changed into a black leather jacket with a blue button up with jeans and boots.

That woman looked familiar who the hell was she. She Kind of reminds me of Athena. Every woman does. The woman in the white house looked like her more had her hair her body purple jacket purple's her color even the boots. Except that Athena doesn't wear white or gloves and wears something more sexier. Besides why would Athena be in the white house she's a criminal who I'm in love with. I just want to be able to have her just for one moment even. Maybe my anger in pain pushed her away. I scared her with so many questions and begging her. Me yelling at her to give me answers putting her life at risk. I don't know no matter what I'll always blame myself for what happens to Athena.

Athena's POV
Athena was already escorted by wilson to the sub.

Athena hears noise she hears Leon

Athena runs to hide in the bathroom.

Athena is outside a door hearing Jason shen may and Leon talk.

Leon just keeps getting better and better

Athena blushes. Then Jason walks out making Athena jump. "lucky it wasn't leon sweetie" Jason walks off. Athena flips him off behind his back. "want to get dinner when this is all over" Leon asks shen may.

Leon's POV
I don't even know why even asked her out I only did it to at least get rid of Athena out of my head. no amount of girls can change that. I dated tons of woman and still think about Athena. I went out with Athena lookalike without me knowing till later on me hooking up with girls who had her attitude and sassy. Her style. Can't seem to let her go. I dated girls who weren't anything like her but that just ended quick its hard to keep a girl happy when you accidently call her Athena.

Time skip Athena's POV
Leon is walking through the hallway to see the bathroom door slightly open to smell Athena's perfume "she's everywhere in my head" Leon keeps walking. The door closes shut as he leaves. "thank god" Athena whispers to herself

I love Leon so much to protect him I'm making sure he stays alive

"Jason hey jason" Leon raises his voice making Jason jump and sweat. "you want to talk about it" Leon asks. Jason looks away while Leon looks down.

Time skip Athena's POV
Athena sneaks around to another door to see jason and Leon talking. "some fucking hero" Jason says to leon while he stays quiet. "Every night I have the same nightmare about penamstan that day penamstan" He closes his eyes for a second. "that was hell" Jason expresses. "yeah" Leon pauses looking down "I bet" Leon says. "You have no idea" Jason looks down. "look I can't imagine what it was like for you but I have been through some shit myself" Leon explains.

"you were there" Jasons asks. "With a woman Athena don't know if it was ever her real name or not but the name she went by was Athena" Leon looks down. "I was just a rookie cop late as hell on his first day I crashed into her she's the reason I'm still alive" leon explains. "what happened to this Athena" Jason asked.

Why remind me of this

"Athena lied she said she was Fbi had to find out from someone else that she was mercenary she used me to get to it but I guess its like the movies her and I fell in love" Leon shakes his head "she got shot and I left her there and for 6 years I blamed myself for her death" Leon gets a little emotional. "zombies were everywhere I remember people screaming moaning they get bit and turn it was terrifying even Athena was scared her boss didn't tell her anything for us it was" leon tries to look for a word for it. "hell" jason finishes his sentence. "what happened to her you said 6 years this happened in 1998" Jason asks. "her boss was albert wesker when I was in spain i saw her there she didn't want to be seen by me but i kept running after her wesker forced into it haven't seen or heard from her in two years I just hope wesker kept her alive" Leon expresses. Athena blushes.

What have I done I put leon through hell by hiding

"If I could I'd go back and just take even if she kicking and screaming but had to go back to wesker she has a family they've been looking for her her face was in missing childrens she's been missing since the late 80s in files Athena was kidnapped by umbrella from her bed and put so many viruses in her that the government declared Athena Dead Athena is her first name but her last name is not what she uses government thought the viruses maybe killed her it went dark after she was 19 and ran off with wesker" Leon explains.

Wait a minute my parents my family were looking for me

"government mostly kept me out of the loop for her but thats all they told me about her she was project Athena to make her into a sort of super spy" Leon explains.

Well I am super spy

"sure they didn't want to give the poor girl's family false hope or you any even with raccoon they didn't want it to spread" Jason explains. "you destroy a city to save the country" Jason says.

Rough

"there were people alive in there there were families alive in there Athena barely made it out and they didn't even try to get them out so tough call my ass" Leon gets aggressive.

Athena jumps at his anger

I'm the reason he feels this way I have to show myself to him when he's alone I Have to fix the damage that I caused. I never knew Leon felt this way maybe if I had given him the time to explain it me I wouldn't have left.
