I still love you....

Amy's POV

I woke up to see Alfie pacing around my room. I looked down to see multiple wires attached to my arm. "Amy?!" Alfie said. He ran to my bed and held me in a tight long hug. When he pulled away, I noticed how tired he looked. The bags under his eyes where giant, his lips were cracked and his cheeks hollow. "Alfie, are you okay?" I asked.
"I could of lost you, I've already lost Zoë I can't lose you," he sniffed.
I feel a pang of guilt when I remember Zoë and how upset Alfie was. I looked at him as a stray tear escaped his eye. I reached out to grab his hand. His hand was rough and bigger than my small pale hands.
Then Joe walked in, he came beside me and hugged me. I tried to push him of but I was strained of all strength. "Why are you here,"I spit, remembering the events of that night. "Listen, I'm sorry," he said. "No Joe, sorry doesn't fix everything you know!" I try and shout but my voice cracks before I start crying. "Listen mate I think you better leave," Alfie says. I hear Joe murmur something and then the door opening and closing. Me and Alfie sit in silence, I can't stop crying.
The doctor comes in. "Miss, we need to talk,"
"Just cut to the chase, we've been through this conversation a million times," I say.
"We've contacted your councillor, listen Amy, you need to be strong. You can't keep doing this to yourself,"
I sigh as he leaves. "Alfie.....I think I still love Joe," I blurt out. Alfie looks at me in shock. "Seriously!?" He says.
I nod. How can I love a boy who has caused me so much pain. I want to scream. My heads messed up, I can't think straight. My tears keep flowing and I just can't stop them. Alfie rubs my hand. "I wouldn't be surprise if you still loved him, he still loves you. Anyway the doctor says you can come home today," he says softly.

Alfie packs my bag while I get changed in the bathroom. I look at my reflection, my hairs a mess my eyes red against my pale face.

Alfie drives us to Joes place, we need to sort things out.........
