(Name) woke up to the greeting of the sun smiling down on her with gentle rays of heat. She looked out the window and saw a beautiful rainbow of raindrops surrounding the sky. She tried to sit up, but she felt extra weight on her side. She looked back at Newton to see that he was still sleeping, but had his arm wrapped around her. (Name) just lied back down and put her arm on him. She felt relaxed and happy, safe in his arms.

Newton opened his dim eyes slowly, with not enough strength to fully open them. He looked at (name), who's hair was a train wreck. He saw that she was facing him, eyes still closed, smiling. Her arm was surrounding him, and he realized his was on her too. He nudged her trying to wake her up, not knowing that she was already awake. She opened her eyes half way rather quickly , making him jump a bit. He slowed back down a bit once she started nicely rubbing his back, smoothly and softly, nice and gentle, feeling friendly. He fell back asleep again, it must be tiring trying to build multiple inventions with lots of errors and corrections.

(Name) got out of bed as quietly as she could, walking to the other side of the bed. She saw Newton dozed off with a small smile, curled up. She bent down and kissed him gently, trying not to wake him up. (Name)'s heartbeat went up and she left the room.

She slid her feet across the wooden floor, and down the cold hard stairs. She walked into the kitchen, feeling quite hungry. From seeing what Nana makes, she really didn't want to be served. How could she cook rat soup?? She opened something that looked like a fridge and got out some eggs. She brought them to the counter next to the stove, and reached under the cabinet to get a pan and some oil. She put the pan on the stove burner, and turned the switch to medium, already feeling the radiation of heat. She poured a dab of oil inside, and cracked some eggs. As they sizzled, she leaned over and grabbed some salt. She poured some in her fabric hand and sprinkled it onto the eggs, trying to not make it to salty. She opened the drawer under the counter and got a nice flat spatula. She flipped them nice an even, and served them all on a plate, maybe if Nana wanted some.

Holding a plate of two eggs and a fork, she looked around for a nice dining area, wandering into the living room. She looked around and saw a nice poofy couch with multiple cat scratches on the legs. It had the material of colorful flowers with a yellow/green background, kind of like what you would find in your grandmother's house. She walked over to it and sat down, bending her knees to where she was sitting on her legs.

As (name) was eating, she heard some slow footsteps coming down the stairs, seeming tired. Staying on the couch, she leaned over trying to look at the pathway of the stairs, to see that Nana was stepping down them. She looked droopy, more than she usually looks in genral. (Name) decided to act friendly. Nana didn't slap (Name) because she hated her, just because she was caring for her son, a mothers instinct.
" good morning Mis. Pud, how did you sleep?"

" Oh, 'ello darling. It was fine. How did you sleep? Newton can be a bit clingy sometimes."

"I slept wonderfully. Better than usual. And don't worry about him, he acted just fine. Nothing wrong."

Nana sighed in relief,

"Thank goodness, wait...do I smell eggs?"

" Oh! Yes, I made some breakfast for us. They're in the kitchen on a serving plate."

She walked over to the kitchen as (Name) heard more footsteps coming down the stairs. She leaned over to see who it was, and saw his father, Captain Pud. Gosh, Newton was really tired wasn't he. (Name) kindly greeted him with,

" Hello Sir! How did you sleep?"

" Hmm? Oh! Good morning (Name). It was fine, I'm off to my air ship. Have a nice day."

" You too."

He walked down the last couple of steps and out the door, closing it quietly. (Name) continued to eat her delicious breakfast that she had prepared, when Nana came in with hers.

"You made this yourself? It's really good! Even better than my cooking!"

'No duh Sherlock'

"Thanks! I liked to cook when I was back home, my parents loved it."

" Well, I would really like it if you made it more, I really like it! That is, if you are planning on staying any longer. How long do you plan to stay?"

(name) really hadn't thought about it, and she was hoping that she wouldn't be asked. She didn't want to overstay her welcome, but she didn't want to leave. This was a paradise! Especially because Newton was there.

" Oh I don't know honestly, maybe a range of a couple days to maybe...a couple weeks...?"

" Well, your welcome to stay for as long as you want." Nana replied as she got up to go clean the dishes.

(Name) heard more footsteps coming down the stairs, very slowly. She knew who it was, so she got off the couch and went to the staircase, waiting for him at the bottom. Sure enough, there was Newton slumped over walking down the stairs, still looking very tired, losing some balance. (Name) went up the stairs to him and helped him down the rest of the way, putting an arm around his shoulders. "Thank you..,"

She sat him down on the nice fluffy couch, almost dropping him. (Name) poofed up a pillow and put it beind his head. He didn't look like he was feeling so well. She didn't really think that he could even get a fever, so she kept her hand away from his burning head. She sat down next to him, putting her hand on his lap.

" Newty, are you feeling alright? You don't look so good." (Name) exclaimed. He did look pretty..not unusual, but not how he usually looked. His eyes were half open, and there was no smile on his face. She opened the dot, and turned the knob, he didn't really seem to care. He trusted her. He became brighter, but that didn't really seem to help anything. (name) closed it and thought about the solutions to this problem. "Have you ever felt like this before? How did you get better last time?"

Nana overheard, again.

" Is somethin' wrong? Is he feeling ok?" she asked with a slightly worried tone.

" Well, I don't know, he doesn't seem to be saying much. Has he ever been like this?"

Newton was listening to their conversation. He felt good that they were talking about him, and caring. He was not feeling that good either. He didn't really have the strength to talk, or move, really. He saw Nana coming in from the corner of his eye, not really paying attention that much.

" Are you alright sweety?"Nana asked with concern.

"Hmm...? Oh..oh yes, I'm fine...just a little.. drowsy is all...maybe I should go back to bed..."

He tried to get up, but his shaky legs couldn't support all of him. He fell back onto the couch, hitting his head a little. (Name) had a mini heart attack, cause she knew how delicate he was. She quickly rubbed the little spot he hit out of reflex. She was used to him getting into trouble. Newton felt really good that someone cared about him so much, even the tinniest things got her worried. He got a half smile, that quickly went away again, feeling awful. Who knows how or why, he just does.

(Name) put the pillow on the arm of the couch and took hold of a blanket. "Here, why don't you lie down here, it's much easier than going upstairs." He listened to her, completely agreeing, and lied on his side with his head on the pillow, as he got covered up by a nice fuzzy blanket. "Thank you (Name), I don't know why I'm feeling like this, I'm sorry..." (Name) didn't care if he could or couldn't move, she still just really liked taking care of him. It made her think that he would trust her, and it worked. He closed his eyes, and dozed off, yet again. (name) just sat by him, rubbing his side gently, slowly, and softly, making it more relaxing. Newton reached his hand out from under the blanket, as if wanting to hold her hand. (Name) welcomed his greeting, and took hold of it, just loving being next to him.
