[Y/n POV]
This is it. The big leagues. I gotta win this. For you Sarah. I drive through the somewhat crowded streets trying to get to the starting line. All eyes are on me. Good thing I still have my helmet on. I can't tell if they are looking at me because of my skill or because they think that I'm an amateur. I manage to squeeze my way to the starting line.
I look to the side and see a man in a nice 2 piece suit along with some bodyguards looking straight at me. Must be the mob. I'm way to deep to go back now. Gotta do it for her. A girl in jean shorts and a black t-shirt with a skull design on it stands Infront of everyone. She sticks up a green flag in the air. We all start our bikes.
She holds up three fingers in the air with the other hand. Then 2, one, she then waves the flag down. The sound of tires screeching against the asphalt are loud. We shoot off and begin the race. I'm in third out of sixth place. I can't lose this. Not tonight. I accelerate to the limit. I start to drive onto the sidewalk trying to cut corners and get ahead. I almost lose control but stabilize myself.
I look behind and see everyone. I'm in first. I'm not letting them close the distance. I speed up. I slow a bit to take a sharp turn. As I drive another guy comes from the side. He pulls out a metal rod and starts swinging at me. I hits my arm but I don't quit. He's on my left so I put some distance between us. As predicted he tries to get closer.
As he inches closer his bike hits a chain sending him through the air. That looked like it hurt. Finally, I cross the finish line. Some are happy others are not considering they lost money. I take off my helmet and watch as the other racers finish, with the exception of one. Based on the look on suit guys face he most likely bet on him.
After an hour of praise and celebration I take my money and hop on my bike. I head to the nearest donut shop and grab her favorite. Donut holes with chocolate icing. After that I drive to the hospital and walk to the front desk.
(Y/n): "Hi. I'm here to see Sarah Angelus. Also is it fine if I give her some sweets?"
Receptionist: "Ya that's fine. Just make sure you sign in first then you can go ahead."
(Y/n): "Okay, thank you." I say while signing.
I hand the sign in sheet to her then walk to her room. I knock softly then let myself in. I see her watching that show about love or whatever. How does she watch that?
(Y/n): "Hay sis. How are you doing?"
Sarah: chuckle "You ask the same thing every day. I should really start recording it just so you can hear it."
(Y/n): "Well I like to make sure that my big sister is taken care of."
I take a seat next to her bed and lift up the bag.
(Y/n): "Brought your favorite."
Sarah: "Yes. Thank you so much."
(Y/n): "No problem. So, you still watching that dumb show of your's."
Sarah: "Hay, it a good show. It's the only thing I have been watching. I'm almost done. Just need one more season."
(Y/n): "Well soon you can watch it at the comfort of your own home. You just need two more weeks of treatment and your free."
Sarah: "When it comes to cancer no one's free."
(Y/n): "Hay don't think like that. I got enough money for the rest of your treatment so you will be home in no time."
Sarah: "How did you get the money for that?" She asked in curiosity.
(Y/n): "I won a race. Got big money. I will pay for the bills once you get that treatment."
Sarah: "I told you not to do stuff like that. That makes me worried."
(Y/n): "I studied sports bikes for a long time. I think I know what I'm doing." I say with a laugh.
Sarah: "I sure hope so." *yawn*
(Y/n): "I should let you get some sleep. I need to get home and get the place ready for you. I will see you tomorrow sis."
Sarah: "See ya. Love you."
(Y/n): "Love you too."
I walk outside and notice my bike has several dents. The head light is also cracked. How did I not see that? I drive to a place nearby and leave my bike to get repaired. I get a ride in a taxi home seeing as my only ride is in the shop. I walk inside the house and head to my bedroom to sleep. I take off my shoes, jacket and gloves and fall flat in my bed.
I wake up to my phone ringing. I pick it up and hear a voice mail from the repair shop. It's three in the morning. Why are they calling me. I get up and get my stuff back on. I wash my face to wake me up a bit then head out. There is no way a taxi could be running at this hour. I take the city bus to the repair shop instead of waiting to see if a taxi would come by.
I get to my stop and walk the rest of the way. I get there and see my bike ready to go.
Mechanic: "Sorry if I called you at a bad hour but I have to get all these vehicles out before twelve o'clock tomorrow."
(Y/n): "No problem. As long as my bike is working then we are cool."
I realize that I had left my helmet at the house. Screw it, I'm only driving home. I take the highway to get home as fast as possible. I try to stop but it's not working. Everytime I try to break I hear a click. I'm come up a U turn but fly off. I watch as I fall about four stories to the pavement. I land and hear and feel multiple bones break. Everything goes black.
???: "That looked like it hurt friend."
