𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐨 ┊ REN'S FIRST STEP

Haruchiyo, who was busy doing paperwork at the hideout was busy checking on the datasheets on his table.

He noticed that there were still unfinished works that were left by some guy from the organization so he immediately contacted and asked them.

"Hello sir, We're sorry, we lost some of the important data on our way, so we decided to find the missing ones before completing the report," the guy said over the phone.

"Huh? Who are you to come back here after losing something important that belongs to the organization? you guys are fired." he fumed and immediately ended the call.

A sigh escaped from his mouth, "Shit, this is making my blood boil"

"How am I supposed to finish this all, the haitani brothers, Koko and kakucho left all the work to me because Mikey told them to do something other than this, fuck those executives" he kept cursing as he cleaned his messy table.

After tidying up his table, his phone vibrated. He was not planning on picking it up since he was in a bad mood and decided to ignore everything, but then, Aiko's name popped up on the phone, making him look through it.

With that, he saw a two-minute short video sent by her, with no context, just a video. Curiosity filled his mind since it was random to see Aiko sending him stuff, so he opened the video.

A smile crept on Haruchiyo's face as soon as he saw Aiko in the video. His irritated face earlier changed, and somehow lightened up, smiling like an idiot. Well, of course, he loves his wife so much and she's the only one who can calm him down.

Suddenly, the video's point of view was shifted to Ren. Haruchiyo smirked, seeing his wife and their Son having a mother-son bond. He suddenly felt the urge to go home, longing after them.

"I see, Ren is learning on his steps" he pondered.

"Ren, come here, come here to mama!" Aiko's voice was heard in the video, she's guiding Ren to walk in her direction.

A few seconds later, Ren looked at her mother who was calling him, but when he was about to reach her mother's embrace, he changed his path and continued walking toward the couch.

His eyes narrowed, trying to understand or observe what Ren is trying to do.

But then his eyes widened as soon as he heard Aiko's scream. He was about to throw a tantrum but suddenly his body stiffened after realizing why Aiko screamed.

Ren was holding Haruchiyo's pistol that was placed under the couch. He walked towards it earlier to pick it up that's why she screamed.

Haruchiyo smugly smirked and started laughing while watching the whole video until it stopped. Now, he looked at their chatbox when he received Aiko's messages.

How did your gun end up placed under the sofa huh? Haruchiyo?

Don't answer this through the phone, I'll be waiting till you got here

Haruchiyo gulped the moment he anticipated what present would it be.
