There were people—no, teens to be specific. They all seem to be just around our age.

Gon and I strolled and observed. I realized I am hungry, and the smell of the restaurant is quite tempting. I saw unusual foods, there was nothing that seemed to be familiar, and most of them were meat. They smell different but appetizing.

We walked as the grass brushes on my canvas gently.

“Hello, what would you like to have, dears?” A beautiful whitish woman who appears to be floating with dishevelled blonde hair appeared in the stall holding a wooden ladle.

Gon placed his hand as if he was shielding me.

“Do you guys want to eat?” He asked
and showed us the food in wooden oval plates that he had been cooking.
“I’m sorry, we don’t have any money,” Gon said.

“I know,” He replied back gently and smiled at me. “So are they.” She pointed her ladle to the teens eating joyfully.

Gon turned to me and gently shook his head. I looked at him confused and he gestured to me secretly with his eyeballs to look at the teens who were eating.

I slowly looked and noticed nothing unusual.

“What are the choices?” Gon asked.
The woman smiled and clasped both his hands humming.

“Well, young lad. I must say the Dolonkis.” He offered Gon a plate of brown food which appears to be moving and alive but smells really appetizing.

Gon accepted it with his free hand.

“Thank you.”

He then slowly turned to me, showed me the food, and murmured. “Teeth.”
I gaped at him confused and tried to think about what he was trying to say to me.

He used his eyeballs again to point something and he pointed at the teens. I profusely peered at their teeth and noticed how sharp they were. I almost gasped because I didn’t expect that, but I know the situation is quite dire for us so I remained calm, my hands trembling cold. He shifted onto my side.

“Thank you again. We will both share this while we continue our travel.”

Gon said with fake enthusiasm. He held my wrist again as we started to walk slowly away.

“Why? I can see you are both exhausted. There are plenty of seats. Why don’t you two rest for a while?” The woman said, getting heavy on every word.

“Yes! Come rest with us, friends” The teens spoke and they hissed like snakes when they said, friends.

“No, thank you.” I said, but it appeared frightened.

“I insist.”

“We should really get going now,” Gon said and pulled me.

“That’s sad. But we insist.” The teens hissed in unison and got up to their chairs.

“Gon?” I called, scared.

Gon was silent and still. His attention went back n’ forth towards the woman and the teens. The teens were walking towards us slowly. “Come eat with us, friends.” They rejoined and Gon tightened his grip more.

“We’re going to be friends forever.” I heard a chilling voice in my right ear and when I looked, we’re suddenly surrounded by the teens, looking at us without a soul. I held my breath tight. Some of them have problems in their spinal cord.

Some of them trips as he limps which sends a jolt of fear in my heart. I squeeze my shirt, right over my heart. My mind screams to move but fear cuffs my ankles. My eyes can’t search for Gon because they're locked by one of the teens' gaze.
