I entered the cafeteria to see all the prodigies with their together whispering about the Song twins I thought it was quite ridiculous that they were already spreading rumors about the twins when no one even talked to them. I got my lunch and was about the head out and sit next to Dex and Marella when I changed my mind and turned in the direction of the Song twins who were sitting in the far corner of the cafeteria, took a deep breath, and walked towards them.
I ignored the whispering and sat down beside Linh.
"hi," I said trying to start a conversation
"hey" Linh was the first to respond Tam just grumbled and went back to eating his lunch
"you're Tam and Linh right"
" of course"
"well welcome to Foxfire, sorry about the whispering it's kind of ridiculous they just want to see what you can do," I said
" yeah that is kind of ridiculous" Tam said and Linh agreed
I was about the say something when Tam interrupted me " why are you talking to us"
" Tammy don't be rude"
" don't call me that," Tam said Linh just smiled sweetly and with a wave of her had a water bird formed out of the air and splashed Tam in the face Tam scowled. It was quite amusing to watch the twins bicker
" Anyway," I said with a small smile on my face " I am talking to you because no one else was talking to you they do that when a kid comes from Exelium"
I was about to talks again when Tam interrupted again " can I read your shadow-vapor?"
" umm what" I scooted back a little
" don't worry it won't hurt," said Linh " it will just feel a little cold and Tam just wants to know if he can trust you"
" oh ok read my shadow vapor"
Tam raised his hands and shadows crept from it, it was kind of creepy, then a cold sensation tickled my skin it only lasted a second but it made me shiver a little.
" hmm, you shadow-vapor is light," Tam said and went back to eating his food
" yay! she's trustworthy" Linh cheered " and by the way what's your name?" Linh asked
" Sophie, Sophie Farthdon"
"well nice to meet you, Sophie"
"by the way, I should introduce you to my friends Dex and Marella oh and hear the come right now"
Tam turned around just to Dex and Marella walking towards us.
"Hey Sophie why didn't you come and sit with us," Dex said
" I wanted you the Songs guys this is Tam and Linh, Tam, Linh this is Dex and Marella" I introduced them
