one pov (probably for the rest of this book)
I woke up to hair splattered all around my face I moaned, on some days, I always woke up to bed hair which took a while to tame. I got up from my comfortable bed wishing i could stay a little longer on it but I had school today. I went to take a shower and change into my level five uniform, I put my hair into a ponytail and went downstairs with my satchel hanging from my shoulder.
"Goodmorning Dad," I said coming down the stairs
"Goodmorning Sophie," he said yawing
"Up late working again?"
"yes, the council is making sure the foxfire ball goes well, so they are doing all meetings with the five intelligent creatures"
"uh" was my only response
"I know," my dad said sarcastically
" well good luck," I said walking into the kitchen
" thank you for the encouragement" I heard him mutter
"hi mom"
"Goodmorning Sophie," my mother said handing me a bowl full of green mush and a fizzberry muffin. I took a bite of the fizzberry muffin the fizzberry's fizzing and popping on my tongue
"mmh, this is good," I said taking another bite
" Edeline sent some this morning"
Edeline is making the best pastries in the whole world the deserts for her daughter's wedding Jolie the treats were soo good people went for seconds leaving no leftovers, her most famous deserts is mallowmelt.
I finished my breakfast kissed my mom and dad bye and went to the leapmaster of our house and shouted "FOXFIRE!!" and let the light carry me away.
I reached Foxfire just in time for orientation
" Good morning prodigies, Today we have two new students from exicuilm ( is this how we spell it), please welcome Tam and Linh Song a shade and a hydrokinetic.
To say Tam and Linh were twins and opposite Linh had a sweet shy girl aura meanwhile, Tam had an emo, dark and shadowy mood I guessed Tam was the shade and Linh the hydrokinetic
Linh had long jet black hair, rosy cheeks, and silvery-blue eyes and Tam had jet black hair and bangs and they were both very pretty I noticed that they both had dyed the tips of their hair white.
"Well is this how we welcome our new prodigies," Dame Alina said
then everyone started clapping I could tell the twins didn't like this kind of attention well they should get ready for more people in the school thought exiluim was for hopeless cases well these twins did seem powerful and I could tell that some girls were already ogling over Tam.
