Chapter 1 - He's back?

Y/n pov

I've been living with Lizzie since the big fire. She may be a little over-happy or over girly but she's still very dear to me.

I really missed my parents and Ciel. Lizzie and I often made midnight strolls through her garden and we would talk about how much we missed him.

Deep down, I always believed that my brother didn't die in that fire but I didn't have any prove.

I probably would have died in that fire too but I was staying at Lizzies for a few days.

I was thankful that her parents just took me in but I often helped the maids as a thanks for letting me stay.

One day, Lizzie ran into my room at 7am in the morning and yelled at me that Ciel apparently appeared.

I was immediately bright awake and we made our way to my old estate.

We were very surprised when it looked like it had been rebuild, stone for stone.

We got out of the carriage and Lizzie immediately ran into the estate to greet her dear fiance but I stood for a moment and looked at everything.

I breathed in ones more and walked towards the doors. I opened and looked in the see everything as it was before the fire, even the portrait was still hanging at the staircase.

While I looked through the hall, I saw a man walking towards me. He had black hair and was dressed as a butler, he also had red eyes.

I had felt an odd presence as soon as I stood in front of the estate but now that I stood face to face with this butler, I knew that he wasn't human at all.

"Hello Miss, what are you doing in this estate?" He asked me with a fake smile.

"Hello sir, I came here with Liz- Elizabeth but she ran forward and I kinda lost her" I told him.

"Ah, I see. And who might you be, Miss?" He asked me.

"I'm Y/n, could I ask who you are?" I asked him but before he could continue, we heard an all to familiar voice on top of the staircase.

"What are you doing there, Sebastian?" The butler, Sebastian, turned around.

"I'm sorry young Lord but it seems as if Miss Elizabeth brought another person with her" He said.

"Oh? And who might that be?" He asked and Sebastian stepped at the side so Ciel could see me.

I smiled at him and saw his eyes whiden in shock. He completely froze and tears slid in his eyes, I was already full on crying by the way.

"Y-Y/n?" He asked ans slowly went down the stair as if I would disappear if he went any faster.

"Hello brother" I smiled and walked towards him.

When we were only a few meters in front of each other, I slid my arms around Ciel and pulled him into a tight hug(not as tight as Lizzies hugs tho).

"Wha- how-" He stuttered.

"I left an hour before the fire because I wanted to spent a few day with Lizzie" I told him "But I couldn't have died anyways"

I laughed a little ans he joyned, it wasn't like his laughs before the fire but much more like a chuckle.

"I would probably ask you a LOT of questions right now but when I look at your butler, I don't think that you would like to talk about it" I said and he nodded.

"Uhm, what's going on?" Sebastian asked and I giggled.

"Please let me reintroduce myself, I'm Y/n Phantomhive" I said.

"I see, welcome home Miss Phantomhive" Sebastian said an left.

"I see that you got your glasses" Ciel said, motioning to my reaper glasses.

I nodded with a small smile until I suddenly remember that I came here with Lizzie.

"Where's Lizzie?" I asked Ciel.

"She's with my maid" He said and I nodded.

"How about we take a walk through the garden?" I asked my brother and he agreed.

After walking for a while, I looked at him and sighed.

"Is something wrong, Nee-chan?" Ciel asked and I smiled a sad smile.

"You changed, whatever happened must've been really traumatizing for you. I'm sorry that I haven't been there for you" I told him.

"It's fine, it wasn't you fault" He said ans patted his head.

"Sooo, wanna take over the company and title Queens watchdog?" I asked him with a smirk and he told me that he already did, so we decided that I would just join.

"My Lord, Miss Y/n, the dinner will be ready soon" We heard and turned to see Sebastian standing in front of us.

"Alright, thank you" I told him ans he went back inside the estate.

"Let's go to the dinning room" I said.

When we began eating, Sebastian disappeared for a few minutes but reappeared shortly after.

"So, Sebastian" I called and he looked at me "Would it bother you to have a talk with me in my room after dinner?"

"No, not at all, Miss Y/n" He said and I continuid eating.

Lizzie had already left an hour before dinner, so it was pretty quiet in the estate. That was something to get used to after living with her for a while.

"Y'know, I really missed you Ciel"
