"GET HER!" Ahhhh. Those words are music to my ears. At least that's what I think. But the people saying it aren't really the nicest. So again, I'm running on the rooftops and the cops are after me. What fun tonight was! You might be asking what my crime is well, it's simple I stole money and food from the third richest man in Chicago. You might be asking why I do this. Well it's because I work for a secret organization named "ROBINS" who are devoted to helping the poor by stealing from the rich, or say so were Robin Hood. It's annoying sometimes being the best one on this team. For everyone has an eye out for me, to try and take my spot as best whenever they can. It's a bloody war here. But back to the situation I'm in with Detective Peterson who has been on my case for five years now and he hasn't gotten anywhere. It's funny when he does his little scream and dance when he can't find me.
Well where are my manners! Name's Stella ... Stella Waterson. On my wanted poster I'm named Snake Bandit. Why you might ask, because I have a tattoo of a snake on my shoulder and that's all they know of me. My posters are nothing like the real me. Some have even pink skin. There on all the megatrons in town as the most wanted person in the city. Not my fault people can't catch me. But they always wonder why I never get caught, because everyone I once knew already did. My little secret is my brain. I have an IQ of 225. Now that is just a number to you people. But let me tell you what I do. My brain calculates the situation I am in and figures the way to get out. But it really only works when I'm under pressure, the with my fast reflexes I can do it in a matter of seconds and get away easily.
So, back to the situation again! I am being chased by four police cars, two swat trucks, and one detective. Well, this is a merciless night. But running on the rooftops is such a joy for everything up here is for free, and today was my day. Meaning the moment I went around a corner I completely lost them all. They're too slow for this Speedy Gonzales. Well, I'm back at headquarters. There is a clever reason why no one has found this place, which is a bar, is because of where it starts, which is a bar. All you need to do is go to the bartender and tell her that you want a pint of beer with a layer of frizzy on top, which is the dumbest thing to say. But our leader, Dash, is quite exotic as well. She lets you in and as you walk through that layer of beads and thick sunflower scented smoke you will find a door as dull as everything around it. Do the secret knock and as that door slides open. I love the bright beautiful scenery from inside, just itching to get through that door.
Inside the scenery of colors attracts you to wonderland. On every wall there are graffiti painters spraying whatever they can to give the dull wall it's life. Surrounding me are flowers, fierce animals and musical notes. On another part there is a training center we use to train for combat and training circuits of roof tops and building blocks. This is the training to become a true runner. On the ceiling of this place there is a huge picture of our organization's logo. It's mainly green, and on it there is a picture of a fox and an arrow behind him. It's intriguing to look at every time. We let people know who we are by leaving a sticker at every job we complete. Every step you walk in this place you can feel the people before us who started this organization for the good of this city. My thoughts are shatter by the sudden scream of my name by my boss, Dash. As I walk over to his office I can feel every pair of eyes in the area looking at me, like they want to stab me in the back.
At that very moment I see my friend, Janette. Her hazelnut brown eyes just shine in the distance. Her black hair is as fuzzy as ever and her skin is almost as dark as chocolate. I love her with all my heart. She actually is one of the only people in here who can make me laugh. She's wearing her bright red lipstick and has the largest hoop earrings I have ever seen. They just dangle under her ears which make me wish she never wears them. She then gives me a wink and spits on the floor. In our friend language it means knock 'him' down. When I mean 'him' I mean Dash.
I'm the only one who puts a fight against out leader and he hates me for that. I do jobs that he doesn't even ask me to do. I mess up things all the time. But the only reason why he lets it slide is because I'm even better than him in jobs. So I walk in and all of a sudden he starts screaming. "How dare you sabotage the mission and go by yourself! This was the test for the newbies, to see if they're qualified for all the trouble they'll get into!" After all the huffing and puffing I finally see his nice smooth silky black hair and the scar on his right eye. So I finally said "Nice to see you too. Here's the food and money"
"Stella do you know how much trouble you could have gotten into" he blurted out like he owns me.
"No? I'm a genius remember. Nothing can get me. You just had a bad nightmare" replying to his astonished messed up face. "Yo, I'm going to sleep so don't complain"
And just like that I left and went to my room. It's small but its home. I have my little toy Cuddly Puff in a corner and my plain grey walls. I pop on my bed and the whole room bounces with me. I was beat and tired. So I fell into sleep quickly and silently like a baby after drinking and stuffing his face with a bottle of milk. As I went to sleep the whole world around me went dark and silent. It was nice and peaceful. Nothing can get in my way until tomorrow morning.
