I had a nightmare that night about my parents. I was terrified out of my sleep. Thinking about them always keeps me on my tip toes. Waking to my dull room I felt a place sincere in my heart that cooled my body down. My body was sweating to the point where I thought I was swimming in the Pacific Ocean. Then I heard the bells that wake us up for morning drills and training. As I walk out of the room I see Janette doing her morning dance of enthusiasm. She has a belief if she dances every morning to the same song that she and everyone here, including me, won't get caught or into trouble. Even though it doesn't really work. The first thing in morning drill is to jog. Ahhhh, so boring. I finish an hour of jogging/running. Then move on to combat training. Dash of course has me up against the master of combat. I fought and beat him. As usual. I then go to self-defense. Beat the master for that as well. Then when it came to armored practice I bailed to the roof. I am the type of runner who doesn't use weapons to kill. In general I don't kill.

As I reach the rooftop I see the world around me wake up. Cars humming down the road. Beeping and traffic are just an amazing orchestra to my ears. Life moves on like nothing is happening around them. About a few minutes later Dash pops in my face. Oh yay. This is wonderful.

"Sorry."

"For what. You only made yourself look stupid" He sits next to me and looks at the sky above us.

"Remember when you were small and I found you on the street. You were alone." Oh yay he's going to give me this story/speech again.

"It was cold outside and you never said a thing to anyone. You sat in that corner all day with bruises and scratches all over you. Your feet were blown up and black from all the running you probably did. You had the cutest face in the world. I just couldn't resist. But now I regret it" A few seconds later he bursts into a laughter that I see all the looks ridiculous. This makes me crack a smile.

"Come on lets go inside for breakfast" he told me. I nod and follow him inside. When I got inside Janette gave me the wink. That means 'we have a lot to talk about'. As I sit by her at the table she points her spoon at my face leaving me to reveal myself. The spoon was full of the gooey disgusting liquid that they serve us. She investigated me inside and out. Asking me question after question.

"Where did you go?!"

"What did Dash tell you yesterday?!"

"Where did you go today?!"

They just went on and on never ending. After she finished them all I hit her really hard when I said "No comment". All the joy from her face drained away keeping her frail and pale. She sat back down playing around with her food and not eating anything. Then I gave her my cookie which pumped all that joy back into her like a balloon. After breakfast we continue with lessons. Which is the worst part of my day. They teach us kids here what we would in school. So math, science, english, etc. At this part of the day I go out of the hive and just walk around Chicago. This place is amazing. From the skyscraper roof tops to the swiveling streets and through the nurturing parks. I usually do this so when I'm on a mission I know the fastest routes around the city. As well as intelligent places to hide from the authorities.

You guys might be wondering if anyone would notice me. First my face is unknown, and second my arm is covered in long sleeves. So no one will notice me even if they want to. As I walk around I see an enormous house that is owned by the same rich guy from last night. I look around and find right by it there is a hospital, which shows that you can jump from the hospital roof to his house. Therefore I need to investigate. I stroll into the hospital and I look around carefully. My god this place is enveloped in white. Even the doctors and nurses are wearing white. In our place we wear whatever color clothes we want. So this is kind of new to me. As I start to walk around people are looking at me like I killed their relatives or someone close to them. Like dude, what did I do?

I was about to go into the halls when a lady as big as a giant intersects me in my path. Staring me down like I'm a puny bug that has no life. In her deep, demolishing voice she says "Who are you visiting". WHAT?!

"Where is your ticket to enter" she she has follow up questions. WHAT?!

"You can't enter the hallways without having a ticket to enter."

"Do you know where I can get one?" I said

"Maybe at the reception counter" My god she has attitude! I walk up to the reception counter and I see a midget sitting in the seat behind it. Then I hear this small squeaky noise. I notice its coming from the woman but I can't hear it.

"Um, excuse me I can't hear you!"

She replies in a louder noise saying "Who would you like to see out of the portfolio in front of you" After that her breathing starts to get really heavy, like she couldn't keep up with it. As I opened the portfolio I saw pictures of people who were being held in the hospital. Some were injured and some were sick. One guy my age was sick, so I guess I'll go see him. Then I got the ticket and moved past the bull lady. Then I walk around examining the inside walls of the place.

As I'm walking around and investigating a nurse catches me. She sends chills down my back and through my whole body when she says "Are you lost?" I swiftly make an answer by saying "Yes, I'm looking for the room that has Michael Paterson."

"Oh, you're looking for Michael. Well let me show you." She said and started to walk in the opposite direction I wanted to go. As we walk down the halls I can see the people around me decrease in numbers allowing me to see nothing but nurses running back and forth with white cloths full of blood. The nurse escorting me asked another nurse something but I couldn't hear the mumbling. But then the nurse replied to her saying loudly enough for me to hear that "The second last one is gone" Then the nurses waved their heads in despair.

"Sorry about that." When the nurse walked over she looked pretty sad, like all the life around her is crumbling to nothing.

"What happened in there?"

"Our second last patient of hyprocotic sickness died. The last one is Michael. The boy you here to see."

Shucks, I chose the boy that's sick with the worst type of sickness this country can afford. Why me! At the end of all my thinking we finally arrive at his room where I felt scared. As we walked in I see him bleached in white and has the largest smile I have ever seen. Way happier than Janette's smile. If that's even possible. He looked at me surprised.

"What's up!"
