"Summer?!" Kai yelled through the house when he came home.
"Yeah, kitchen." She yelled back, trying to not overcook the pasta she was making.
"You're cooking? Is today something special, did I forget anything?" Kai rambled, hugging her from behind.
"No, I'm just cooking your favorite food, is it not allowed to want to do someting for your fiancé?" Summer giggled.
"Ooh, I like that word, call me that forever, please."
"Alright, fiancé." Summer chuckled again.

They were done with the food now, but still sat at the diner table, Kai noticed how Summer couldn't keep sitting still. "Ok, what's wrong?"
"What?" Summer looked up in shock, not realising how obvious she was.
"What's wrong? You're acting weird." He smiled reassuringly.
"Uhm, alright. I have something to tell you." Summer grimaced, scared of what he would say.
"Go on." He smiled.
"Well, uhm. You remember the time when you though I was pregnant because of what Meg commented? Because of Balou?" She asked making Kai nod, Balou just now walking through the door.
"When you mention him, he comes." Kai chuckled, patting the dog on his head.
"So, uhm. I might be pregnant now." She just said it, without a second to think about how she would say it, making Kai halt in his pats.
"What?" He didn't even realise what she just said.
"I'm pregnant." She smiled.
"Holy god. What? You... you... we-" He couldn't form a sentence so he just stood up and pulled her into a bone crashing hug. "Oh, my god. We're getting a baby."
"Yeah." Summer was crying now.
"When did you find out?" He pulled away slightly so he could look at her face and wipe away the tears.
"I had morning sickness this morning when you had training and then I called Meg and she brought a test." She handed him the test she got out of her pockets.
"Holy jesus christ. Wow." He smiled, feeling the tears build up, too.
Summer looked at his face with a small smile while he looked at the test, and adored the smile he had on his lips and the way his eyes lit up.
"I love you, so much. And I love our little man too, already, so much." He smiled at her.
"You also think it's a boy?" Summer laughed, remembering the conversation she had with Meghan.
"I think so yeah, but I would love to have a daughter too, and what do you mean with 'also'?"
"Meghan said, that she as the godmother feels that it will be a boy." Summer smiled, giving Kai a small kiss.
"Ah, yes. The godmother, of course she feels that." Kai chuckled, pulling her back in a longer lasting kiss.
"Let's keep it private though. Tell our friends and family, just not social media." Summer proposed.
